This is neither of those.

This is just a shameless attempt to make my 1000th post something special xD

It's a little scary to think that I have been iSketching since 2004; joined this forum in May 2007; and now here we are, in February 2009. The time has just gone.

I think it's amazing how an online game/this forum can affect you so much - sometimes positively, and sometimes negatively. At least, that is my experience of it :) I believe I have actually changed as a person because of some experiences on iSketch and this forum. I guess some people may say that this is just virtual reality and it doesn't mean anything, but for me, after all these years, this 'identity' has a very real place in some part of my life, and it is so much more than just a passtime. It's hard to explain this to friends who don't have a virtual life, I find, but I think some of you understand what I'm trying to convey here :)

Anyway, I don't want to go on and on about this because a) it will get tedious; b) I don't want to talk about me all the time; and c) let's keep this short x)

I just wanted to say a couple of things, really.

1) Thank you to all those who have made this forum what it is - I really like it, and despite the fights and b****ing that sometimes make an appearance, I think overall, it's a great forum, and I hope it continues to be that way.

Thank you to the admin and mod team, forumites, and everyone I've played with over the years who has made being on the forum and iSketch something fun.

2) I hope those I have had differences with in the past would like to move beyond those differences.

3) Thank you to my mother, father ... just kidding :p

Hmm.. Well done on getting 1k posts storm :) Like everyones said, you're a lovely person and I don't think the forums would be the same without you. You were also a great help in organising the girls team on that first round :) Mm.. :)

And yeah. I know what you mean about the whole virtual friends/online life thing.. And yeah.. As long as you don't now go and hide hearts in your posts then I'm happy :P lol.

I just wanted to say that I myself have seen a different side to you that I didn't see before, but then that was my fault for not getting to know you properly. Sorry I was a cow you in PM once.. I'm a bit embarrassed by that now.. Guess it was my fault for not really understanding who you were as a person. But ya know, since then, I've become fond of you, and regret what I did.

Not only that, but I love that you're the sort of "say it as it is" person. A lot of people are so fake on the net, it kinda cheeses me off! I've lost friends because of this, too. Even though it is hard at times, I prefer it if people are blunt rather than "fake" or keep quiet for the sake of peace. You really show your true emotions on things and I really admire that.

This is beginning to sound like waffle now :( so I'm gonna stop there. It's been cool getting to know you a bit more in our little girlie social group, heh. XD

Totally agree with you about the virtual life. It is a definite part of your identity.
I am so glad to know you as well and hear your comments on things - you are one of the members on here who can really convey what they mean in a straightforward, nonjudgmental and thoughtful way.
