BM, I know we'll always be friends, was great to meet you at last. Safe trip home to paradise mate xx
Thanks princess for being a very special part of my life. Love you heaps. It was really good to meet you in the flesh and to be able to put a tangible aspect to an online relationship. For the readers who don't get it - that means I was able to touch you (well and the others too).

13,000 miles is a hell of a long way to travel, but it was well worth it.

I extend an open invite to all of you to come and visit the great, wide, brown land downunder and if you do, I will make the time to take you on the BM Sightseeing tour of Sydney.

Yes I know I'm no oil painting and yes I have the infamous D.I.L.L.I.G.A.F. shirt on - but surely you realise what a gorgeous person that the hot blonde next to me is and that should make up for it.

Erm - I don't think she actually got them - it was limited to a possible single source and has been unconfirmed at this point in time. Police are now combing the area.

Well BM certainly knows how to travel in style, I spoke to him this morning just before he left British soil.

Firstly he was collected in a vintage rolls royce to take them to the airport, then they had all the tea, coffee, beer, pastries, cereal they could eat or drink in the Executive Lounge and finally priority boarding onto the plane!

He did get a good result on the plane by managing to annoy the airhostesses by using his mobile when he shouldn't have!

They have a 14 hour flight (ouch!) stopover in Singapore (he may get on here to say g'day) and then a 9 hour flight home. Well it is a long way...

BM, hope you and your family had a great time in Europe, come again soon xxxx

Thanks for posting for me sweetheart. Was good to get a last minute chat in - even if the air hostie chipped me for being on the phone before the plane had even closed the doors.

As you know I chatted to you and jewels from Singapore Transit Lounge and - here's the little taxi we got to the airport.

Here is a little poem for your return home BM.

Our BM is in the sky, all we can do back here is cry.
We had him here for a short time, his visit was nothing short of sublime.
I hope the aussi,s want him back. or ill presonally repack his trusty rucksack.
To bring him back to english soil, so we can love him kiss him and really spoil.
Farewell to a good mate we all know and miss, and ive sealed this message with a big fat kiss.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks Cherry - I appreciate it. Especially as my flight from Singapore has now been delayed by 2hrs 10 mins. They took dad & mum together to Ambulift them on the plane as he is on Assisted Passage and gets taken through security ahead of everyone else.

This has been fine almost everywhere - except the return out of Barcelona - where they said no dont get a bus across - we'll get a special lift and then the ♥♥♥♥er refused to take him because the wheelchair we borrowed from the airport wasnt the airlines own. Go figure.

So its God knows what time - I have dumped out of iSketch in a big rush to get to the gate and as my battery was dying I told my very best friend on msn that my battery was dying and I would drop anyway - but if I hadn't been going to board soon I would have gone and plugged into a powerpoint and carried on the conversation. So I get directed to the gate and they get taken off separately. I am in the midst of whipping outthe laptop and taking off half my clothes for the security check at Singapore Security, when some muppet wanders out saying go to the mumble mumble - the flight is delayed until 11:40 not the scheduled 9:30.

So I get re-dressed and ask the muppet where the ♥♥♥♥ my parents are, because dad is being ambu-lifted on. He says "I don't know. You have to go to Transfers" Which happens to be exactly where I started

Losing luggage is much more common than losing parents. Assume you found them and resumed your journey after the delay.

I'm betting BM will do his pope impression and kiss the tarmac at Sydney Airport. We will miss you BM but it's always nice to get home x

And this time, I really can say 'next time we talk, you'll be home in Oz' xxx

Thanks Kissy,

I didn't get the chance to kiss the tarmac - but I very nearly collapsed onto it from the strain of the last month. And yes the next time we actually spoke you were the the one person who is there for me at about 2:40am Sydney time and were there again when I was tired and emotional and needed someone the most.

Thanks for being there princess - you know this big boofhead loves every little inch of you.

I didn't get to complete the tale of Singapore Airport,

After checking at several desks I had been directed to, I found Mum and Dad had been dropped in a Food Court and told to use their Boarding Pass to get a meal. Not a great idea considering almost all they had was rice and noodles with funky Singaporean stuff. Dad was stressing because he can't eat that and mum has allergic reactions to MSG - so doesn't eat any asian, Malaysian, Singaporean or other similar foods - she can't risk it. So there she is lined up looking forlorn and dad is fuming because others have eaten twice and they were the last to be brought up to eat. Naturally the stress and having not eaten on time meant his sugar levels had been trashed and he was starting to get really angry and snapped at me a lot.

I got mum away from the line to the noodle bar - put her in a patisserie line and said I'd keep an eye out until she reached the front. Went and got a prawn laksa (worst thing I've ever put in my mouth) and a beer and 2 bottles of water for Mum & Dad. The folks in front of me also had water and were told they couldn't have water - only post mix pepsi or soft drinks. I kept mine and was told I'd have to pay for water - but could have soft drinks - I just said "No. Thats for my dad - he is diabetic and cannot drink your sugary, syrupy soft drinks - he will be having water, as is his basic human right, and I will be having this beer - because by now I should be on a plane having another one." Nobody argued or challenged me, so I guess I upset the Singapoerans too. (Insert very tired and half hearted yay here).

Poor dad managed to eat half of a crust chicken pie and mum got a manky chicken sandwich - they also got cups of tea. Dad started to cry from the stress of it all and the fact his sugar levels were all over the place didnt help him.

The plane ended up delayed by just over 4 hours. So when we get there and are taken through customs and quarantine by a lovely girl from the airport, she took us to where we should have been and once we determined that the shuttle wasn't there I had to check the email on my laptop - and when I opened my cabin bag - designed for laptops - found the laptop screen has been damaged and can't see the bottom right side of it. Of course the private shuttle I had booked to pick us up from the airport refuses to stay more than 45 minutes and doesn't check plane delays - small print which I found out later - bastards. So she arranged for the airline to pay for a taxi home.

Got the parents home - fed, watered and put to bed, did a load of washing and hung it out at 2am. Grabbed a beer and just sat and cried buckets in the back garden. Not sure where they came from, but it's probably a combination of stress and the strain of taking care of mum & dad and although going and leaving the wife and junior at home was probably against better judgement - I'm glad I went, because had I not been there, one or both may have ended up in hospital because they didn't cope. I think it's also attributed to missing Oz and missing new friends and loved ones.

So - BM's World Tour of Britain has come full circle and I finished my last night in Britain playing iSketch with some of my favourite iSketchers - including some I have now met in person and love to bits. I now have to check with Dell and my Travel Insurer about getting the laptop fixed - but that can wait until Monday. I will eventually get some picture links up and post them here, for the World Tour and specifically for the World Tour Manchester Meet.

Tonnes of love winging it's way across the globe, back to all of you.

Sounds like you had a real nightmare of a journey on the last leg home.

So glad you were there to look after your parents, you probably need another month off work to recuperate.

* kisskiss gives BM a huge hug from herself and his other friends cos he sounds like he needs one xxxxxxxxxx
