I am an avid fan of iSketch and today when I tried to sign in that dreaded "you have been banned" message popped up. I have absolutely no idea why I would be banned. I always stick to the rules, draw appropriate pictures and make appropriate guesses. I have never been rude to anyone in chat (infact I rarely use the chat box) and have never received a warning. I emailed feedback and am waiting for a response (with my fingers crossed)! I was just wondering how long it usually takes for this kind of thing to get sorted or if it is likely to get sorted. I am pretty annoyed about the whole thing- I am a professional 29 year old woman who enjoys a quick game of iSketch to help me unwind after a long day and I have never ever broken any rules within the game. Argggggh, I think I am starting to get withdrawl symptoms, lol.

It can happen. I'm sure that if you have not been banned, feedback will sort it out for you.

yay for nice people at iSketch feedback! I emailed and was told there had been a problem with IP adds in my area. I am now back up and running on iSketch. Panic over ;-)

I've been playing this game for a long time with friends and enjoy it everytime we play, however...

Recently I have noticed a LOT of complaints in the google chat box with people saying that they got banned for nothing. I understand a lot of people deserve bans which is fair enough.

Yet what is going on with the random banning? There is a lot of people who go away for a week and come back to find they are banned for absolutely no reason, are you banning IP Subnets rather than that 1 specific person?

The game is losing a lot of rep for this, people are getting frustrated because of these random bannings which are completely out of order. I'm aware a lot deserve banning but people who do nothing and find they are banned when they return have plenty of reasons to complain. Sure if some bans are an hour or a day long you'd get over it, but I have friends who have been banned over a few weeks now and it's getting a bit boring considering they did nothing wrong. Also yes we have sent e-mails and they didn't get us anywhere.

Please sort out the crappy admin...

The other thing to remember about the google talk box and similar forms of communications, is not everyone who says they were banned for an unknown reason is as innocent as they say. That is not to say they aren't innocent, just that a lot of people who get banned legitimately claim they were banned for no reason or for an unknown reason.

I completely agree Jobe but a lot of bans recently seem to of been for no reason, like the admin are banning whole ranges or something stupid which in turn blocks a huge bunch of people and they don't know why.

I've played this for a long time and the last few months a friend will end up randomly banned for absolutely no reason and it's getting more frequent, we're not the only ones. The admin need to be more careful when banning really.

I was banned for no reason and after contacting feedback was told it was due to servers in my area. They were very nice.

so thats how one gets to be a VIP!

I'm banned too and I don't know why :( I've been playing for years with no problem but all of a sudden I am banned :(

Does any one have an email address or something I can contact to get unbanned? It's been several days now.

yeah just found myself banned, annoying because i'm staying with my cousins and just got them all addicted to it too lol. Anyway sent an e-mail to info so hopefully it'll be sorted soon. will let you know how it goes.

this is really wierd, i'm not banned anymore but sometimes i log in and it says im banned and sometimes it doesnt and lets me in, any idea whats going on?

If you are requesting to be unbanned, you need to send an e-mail to Feedback as mentioned by sense in post number 5 in this thread. It is the only way to get your request heard.

Don't expect an unban, this game has gone majorly downhill recently... loads of people are getting banned for absolutely no reason and it really sucks because it used to be so good :(

i sent a message to info but im still banned, been nearly a week now... sometimes it let me in and sometimes it didnt but now its point blank refusin to let me in

I'm sure feedback will respond in due course imamouse. Just need to be patient :) Can you imagine how many people would pester them with all sorts of little enquiries? Must take some time to sort through it all!

Strange how it lets you in only sometimes :\ Can't explain that one.

Feedback do nothing all. I was being rude on the acromania room and I get banned from Isketch. I've e-mailed feedback about...5 times about this and all the blueberry muffins do is send me the automatic response e-mail.

I starting to think feedback is just an automatic response machine and not actual human beings.

Mathyou, part of being in an online community is being respectful to one another. I sincerely doubt that your ban was based solely on that one incident, and I also think your post here has demonstrated your inconsideration for other players and lack of respect.

And Mathyou, I believe the image in your signature is supposed to read "iSketch... it's serious business" and not "iSketch... it serious business".

When slagging off isketch, the admins, whoever your image is supposed to be attacking, try not to sound like a dumbass in the process.

Apparently "tool" is inappropriate...

I should be pissed off, I got banned once from putting a letter once on isketch, one single freaking letter and only one person hit the warn button.

Also, what pisses me off is you have morons on that site drawing inappropriate drawings something that would have a sexual reference towards it yet me and some other isketch users (I'd say at least 4-5 of them) are hitting the warn button yet there's an admin already in the room (I would mention their name but they get so butt-hurt if you mention their name on here apparently) and nothing happens...

You answer me this question, what's worse a sexual drawing on isketch or a single letter...you be the judge, infact, no f*ck it I know the answer so why should I be asking you people...

I then PM the TOOL Admin saying "How come you didn't band them?" she goes "I wasn't in the room"

Really? Are you f*cking kidding me? It just shows how some of the admins on that pathetic website have no f*cking clue how to be an admin.

There's no f*cking point of e-mailing this sh*t to feedback since all I'm gonna get is a lame automatic response machine saying "thanks for your e-mail, We won't read your e-mail cause we're lazy as f*ckWe'll get to you very soon.

Do they get back to me? No.
