Thought it would be amusing to show draws that were funny because of the association between the drawer (or their drawing style) and the word.

And yesterday... Calico_Cat got the word 'catnap' and drew a sleeping cat - gave the hints C A _ _ _ _ and everyone started guessing calico.....

But here is scatikins (who usually starts with a blcak background) drawing 'black'

I don't get the word 'nerd' to draw often. I think I've only ever had it about 2 or 3 times.


Neeeeeeeeeeeeerd! And excuse my bad picture. I wasn't done! I was on the phone, and someone guessed it straight away, so I didn't bother finishing it :P That's my excuse, and I'm sticking with it, heh.

Okay.. and I can't draw. (and stop blaming my mac, buffs! lol)

Today i was in a room with Lovii and Thelovebelow, i got the word 'wand', drew a wizard lemon with a wand. Followed by such comments as "Your a wizard lemon!". Thought this was pretty funny at the time, so the three of us were drawing wizard lemons in our draws...
The noobs in the room caught on quickly and soon everyone was drawing lemons! After about 5 lemon drawings in a row, one of the players actually got the word Lemon!!! It was hilllarious at the time..have to say tears were spilt..

A couple of drawings later another player got the word 'magic' and drew a wizard found this prettty funny aswel, what were the chancesss.

I know it was probably a 'you gotta be there' thing but i still thought id share!

I plan on posting in this thread when i get the word lemon, but everytime ive had it recently ive been in hiding and had knowone to share my 'OMGness' with.

Lol yes i recall lemon getting the lime draw, was funny to watch lol.

That really annoyed me... She didn't even draw a bog standard lemon, she jazzed it up to confuse us

Jas was in a room with the name TheBrain today (Pinky and the Brain), and kept drawing pictures of The Brain, after a while he got the word "brain", everyone who had been there wasn't guessing and everyone who didn't understand was guessing "some kind of mouse like animal thing". Didn't think to print screen until after it was gone though, used to have it set to copy every draw done but that got annoying.

You didnt actually expect me to make it easy for you did you?....You know me better than that.

Would have to be spanner... because I always forget that english word!!

More than half of the sketches I see, within a few seconds, I'm convinced the answer is "anvil", so I naturally got very excited when I was given "anvil" to draw =)

Still only seen "rust" once or twice. Never been my word though :(

In Connections, we had the word "octagon" followed by "stop", and "skewer" followed by "steel" which led to these draws:



It's quite rare in Connections to get 2 words which are actually linked.

hey! i once encountered words that are linked in connections room continuously for 6 rounds in a game!!! :O

i only remember the first two words are "leak" > "liquid" > the rest can't really remember. =(

On a similar note, someones word was "ballerina" earlier. Some people guessed it and then time ran out. It came up with my turn to draw and before I knew it, 3 people had guessed it. It took me a minute to work out what was happening and the timer was dissappearing fast. I then started to draw but was too late for anyone else to guess.

My word was "ball".

The latecomers were still guessing "ballerina" and I only got 12 points
