Okay, since people are curious and im sorta anxious, imma post the information about Round 3 now, but it doesnt officially start until tomorrow :)

There are two parts to this round, one is going to be questions, another is a wordsearch :)

Questions:
- We have made up a series of questions that we will ask throughout the next week (approximately one question per day)
- We would like each person to answer the questions on their own due to scoring
- We will not be having group discussions about the questions due to scoring
- After we post the question, scoring will be like iSketch scoring (the first person will get 10 points, second person 9 points, .... sixth person 5 points and everyone after will also get 5 points -- only for correct answers though)
- Becausee, there are more girls than guys, they have an advantage. so we'll average out the scores. Only those that have stated they will be around for Round 3 will be expected to answer, so do not worry if there are people on your team that don't appear to be participating
- Wrong answers will be 0 points, and everyone can only submit one answer per question

Word Search
- Because we're not sure as to exactly how many questions there are, there will also be a wordsearch
- Scoring for the wordsearch has not been determined yet, but everyone will have a week to do the wordsearch (starting tomorrow)

Because there are two parts in one week, we'll try to limit the number of questions..possibly changing it to two days per each question and having less questions, but I think this may be better than looking for the hearts XD

Just a note :( i know some people dont like the holiday or this comp, but tbh. the comp was meant to sort of remind people that while it is good to show your love towards friends, family, etc every day, Valentines Day helps to remind us about the love that the people in our lives have given us and to remind us of how we should show our love to them. And Valentines Day really isnt just for couples, its for friends too...you dont need to be in a relationship to celebrate valentines day....love between friends is just as amazing :)

and in this case, Valentines day should remind us about our love for isk and the amazing friends we've made on here :) even though its become so commercialized and cheesy :)

2) Is there a special mention for the individual with the highest score?

3) Does everyone answer everything?

4) How long will the Questions Round go on for (although you said you're not sure how many questions there are, a vague idea, please?)

5) Is the scoring like, first person (over both the boys and girls groups) to get the right answer gets 10, or the first person in the girls group gets 10, and the first person in the boys group gets 10, etc.

6) Are both teams getting identical questions?

7) Is the wordsearch group work or individual work?

2) ummm, i dont organize who gets special mentions, but i'll ask saff to make one :)
3) everyone that said they'll be around should answer everything, but if you don't answer one, you'll get 0 points for that question
4) we have about 4 questions now and are hoping to add a couple more (so maybe 7 in total if we can?)
5) the points are for everyone, so the first person (doesnt matter what group) gets 10 points, second person (group doesnt matter) gets 9...which is why its still a team competition NOTEEE ABOUT THIS: i understand that it is possible to share answers, but i'm hoping everyone will be honest about this and not share the answers, and even if you did, we'll try posting questions at random times because not everyone is on at the same time

Sorry for my late response, but I'll clarify the scoring.

Scoring for Questions:

There will be 10 questions, all Valentine related. There will be roughly two questions every day, set at random times by either Jen or myself between today and the 13th Feb.
The scoring for correct answers will be like iSketch and will be spread over the two teams i.e. only one person out of the 35 entrants can score 10 points.
1st - 10 points
2nd - 9 points
3rd - 8 points
4th - 7 points
5th - 6 points
All positions after receive 5 points.
Answering incorrectly will not earn any points.

As Jen mentioned, the points will be weighted as there are more girls than boys.

Scoring for the WordSearch:

At present there are 30 words to find in the wordsearch.
The wordsearch will be posted tomorrow.
There will be 1 point awarded per person per word found in the wordsearch.

Special Mentions:

All the points awarded are accumulated to your team's score.
Special mentions will be made to the people who score the most points for their team in the questions part of Round 3.
