I was trying to download an upgrade for my Dell Printer and I don't know what happened but now my Dell Dock has disappeared. The upgrade was supposed to be just for the Printer but it was suspiciously called "XPCleanUpUtility". I have Vista and I wasn't trying to clean up my OS, but I installed it anyway because it was the link Dell Support gave for the printer upgrade (the printer still doesn't work but that's another matter).

I tried to get the Dell Dock back to the desktop by clicking on the shortcut in the Start menu but it says the shortcut has been changed or moved. There's another link to the DellDock on the Start menu and when I click that it says I need to insert the "Dell Dock Disc". I'm not sure which disc this is supposed to be because I can't find any disc called that.

I checked the Control Panel and it doesn't say Dell Dock has been uninstalled. I clicked Repair, and nothing happened.

I have a bunch of Dell discs but I didn't use any of them when I got my laptop because everything was pre-installed (Dell Dock Drivers and Utilities; disc for reinstalling MediaDirect; disc for reinstalling Webcam; disc for reinstalling Fingerprint software; Roxio Creator). I used the Drivers and Utilities disc just now but the dock hasn't reappeared.

Any ideas how to recover my Dell Dock? I really really miss it and it's only been 15 minutes!

Edit:

I found the code that makes the Dock and I see all the shortcuts I had in the dock in the code, but Idk how to translate that into an actual application =/ It's a .xml file and opens with Notepad currently.
