I suggest we mailbomb all those dicks who keep flooding the forum with stupid "buy my cheap blackberry" posts.

Getting boring logging on and having to report them every day, sometimes twice ....

I know how to zip bomb, which is similar to mailbombing but less likely to be caught by spam filters.

The email address given in the posts can be obtained on windows live account set-up.

It gives the option to have <name>@kelebek.gen.tr (which is Turkish) and it has the padlock symbol in the address bar.

Putting it simply, Windows Live has a terrible service when coming to account registration as well as Yahoo.

This group could be innocent but this facebook group may be the company behind it although there is no proof to directly connect the spammer and this group.

I kind of like the ones that try to pretend to be human by saying random Engrish phrases.

It is annoying though, I guess the 'Are you human?' part of registration needs to be improved? Or do actual people register and then use some kind of program to create spam?

Firstly mailbombing these idiots wont make a difference to the spam. It's ALL automated so the bots simply don't care and half the time the email addresses given are closed down within hours of the spam beng posted anyway hence why they change so often.

Secondly can we please not discuss malicious activity such as mailbombing on this forum thank you.

Is there any way to make the registration process for this forum a little more complicated, such that a spambot can't handle it and a spamidiot is too lazy to attempt it?

Nice idea. Seeing as this is iSketch Forum, perhaps we could ask new members a few (perhaps 5?) iSketch related questions in the registration process to make sure that each new member has a genuine obsession liking of iSketch.

They would only need to be easy questions about the basics of iSk that all, if not, most players will know. An example would be "What colour is the voting triangle for warning an artist?". Edit: We could devise a long list of questions and the registration process thing would automatically choose a small selection of the questions from the list.

So if any people try to register with the sole purpose of spamming, they have to first do a little research into the game. Hopefully they can't, or indeed won't be bothered when they are faced with the questions :)

Any thoughts?
