Edit again: OK I think I have it all OK now. I have edited the original post to show the maximum possible score that could have been obtained in each question. This brings the maximum score obtainable for the English Round to 343. This will be converted to a percentage.

Alrighty. I would like to announce the winner of this Round.

There may have been some confusion about the 10 bonus points people got for submitting everything by the due date. These were not automatically allocated to the English round - you needed to tell me if you wanted to use them for English. I have checked everyone's scores by adding the extra 10 points in to see if it made any difference to the outcome, and it doesn't. So...........if you thought those 10 points were automatically allocated and your confirmation PM says you used no bonus points.....then you still have those 10 left to use in a future round.

So, without further ado, I would like to announce, the Master of English, scoring 301 out of a possible 343 points, with a converted score of 87.76:

I must admit though, I'm a little worried about the Sci and Maths round. The questions are....hmmmm.....well, I'm obviously not the biggest sci/maths brain on here by far, so there's no way I could ask real, REAL Sci/Maths as I would have to google the answers, which would mean that anyone else could google the answers........so......the questions are sorta...different. lol.
Anyway, hopefully it'll be fun. ^^

Yes, the science round should be interesting. I have no idea what could be done for a "poll-style" question. I'm sure Saff has some good stuffs up her sleeve. :P

We could vote for our favourite element XD although that wouldn't help the competition in any way! :p
I am looking forward to both the questions themselves and the style of questions in the Science round as they'll be much harder to make non-googleable.
