Forum up again!

Hey everyone, sorry the forum's been down for the last few days.

As some of you are aware something went wrong on Monday for about an hour, what happened was all the files on the server got deleted somehow, I've checked the Raw Access Logs for the time and it doesn't look like we were haxored my guess is it was some glitch in the FTP software I was using at the time (a bloody nasty one at that!).

Anyway the site looked like it was fine and cos I was right in the middle of a huge assignment (only 2 hours of sleep last night) I just checked my PMs and shot off. For those of you that are web dev techy I'll tell you why the threads weren't loading... the .htaccess file wasn't replaced when I copied the files back to where they were menna be (maybe I needed to flag the command to copy hidden files), the .htaccess file contains the rewrite rules for the forum SEO mod so instead of searching the forum database for the threads it was trying to access the rewritten URLs, oopsy!

* JASR rubs chin and mutters things about FTP Client software probably didn't think 29th Feb 2008 existed...

Various FTP client's appear on a google search , as having problems...

...but well done for getting it all back.
