Help! iSketch text way too small! :-(

Hi there :-)

I just got a 20 inch ViewSonic wide screen monitor. I was told to set the display settings at 1680 x 1050. I was able to make all my Desktop fonts to their largest, and my IE 6 text largest, but when I go into iSketch, the text size is so small it's like I need a magnifying glass to read the chat!

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance!

Angi

Hello Angi and welcome!

On iSketch, if you go to 'settings' and then 'appearance' and look to the bottom left of your screen under the gradient palette, you'll see a box to click for the 'big text' option. I hope this helps you.

Ah, I just went and had a look. Thanks for that, because I never noticed myself before either! That Rob thought of everything, didn't he. Smart one, heh. At least I know how to solve that problem now, should I ever get a big monitor.. which won't happen anytime soon..

No worries, I love my baby, and my baby loves me ;)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I already tried that and the text size did NOT change. :-(

Awww I'm sorry Angi... perhaps try emailing info@isketch.net for assistance, or alternatively wait for someone who knows about computers here to help. We have some really good computer geeks, I mean hunks, who will be happy to help I'm sure.

You could change to a lower resolution on your screen, even if its just when you fancy playing a game of isketch, and then set it back again when you're done.

Not ideal, but might work until someone has a better idea :)

Yeah, i'd say so too. I had for a while a 17'' samsung and the text was too small for my mom to read too (old age is not fun) so she had to increase the resolution every time she wanted to play isketch. Can't imagine what that'd look like with the 20''. Yeah yeah i got my mom hooked too.
