HTML Code

As far as I was aware HTML code has been disabled on this forum. The last few times I've edited my posts, the original message appears in HTML code instead of BB code and the icons for customisation aren't clickable. The most recent edit happened when I just wanted to add bold. I added it in as HTML code and it liked it. Does this mean that HTML code is now allowed? If so, I wondered if it was still limited to the BB code selections.

I noticed the HTML codes too deebs. I used the break lines to make new paragraphs, worked last night but now it doesn't. Tried it in PM and it's also not working. How weird. I also can't click emotes or insert pictures, change font/size etc. And it doesn't work when I try it with HTML either so I guess it's all bwoked.

I find it really difficult at the moment to edit my posts. If it's staying this way, hopefully I'll get used to it.

I found this HTML characters website, which might make it possible to post special characters. I'm gonna try it now.

x² ¿qué tal? ψ σ

I also found some basic HTML stuff in the right hand column here.

The only thing I'm having trouble with is editing posts :s

Edit: The symbols don't work. I didn't have much trouble editing this time. Strange that.

Hmm... is it strange that I don't notice any difference? hehe.
changing font and size.

Editing posts is also working fine for me. :S Maybe I have missed what you are saying the problems are though... I just don't see anything to be different at all, and HTML codes aren't doing anything for me, as if they're still disabled. I have minimal to no knowledge with regards to this sort of stuff though, so I've probably just ran about the joint sounding thick.

OK, I think it was just those two posts that wouldn't let me edit properly.

It just seemed weird that HTML was turning up in edited posts.

Sorry for the spam :s

The forum does allow some text editing HTML, but only that restricted to the editor when you write or edit posts. So while you can play around with text, there's nothing else the forum will allow you to do.

I saw a <br/> tag in a PM to me which I thought a little odd but haven't seen anything else. Might be a bug something to do with the update :/ Hmm, none of the buttons are working and drop down menus are dead. Also couldn't expand the menus in the admin CP earlier. Looks like anything that uses the vBulletin JavaScript library has died. I'll try re-upload the files...

Testsignafndrg

seems to be fixed now :)
