The site is independent from all political parties, companies or hidden agendas. It's just an idea a 22 year old guy in Iceland came up with and executed with a little help from his friends - they thought it would be interesting to see how the global community would vote in the US Presidential Election.

It does indeed. I read some other article on the same topic, but I can't find it... but the results were pretty much the same. 80%+ for Obama. I'm on CNN.com right now, and though Obama is winning, the percentages are 50-50...
