We're all unique in our own way... I thought it would be interesting to discuss what makes us different from each other. Is there a little quirk you have that makes you different? I'll share if you do

Well those of you that have met me can proberly agree that im a bit loud, thats something ive always had to put up with in life, does that make me different, i dunno.

OMG!! This is the second thread that's appeared that I've been considering starting for a couple of months *insert Twilight Zone music here*

I do silly little things like you know when people make a cup of tea and bang the teaspoon against the side of the cup? Me? Never!! I've never seen anyone else do it but I touch the edge of the cup with the teaspoon and never make a sound. For crying out loud, stop being so common

I'm complex sometimes, if I'm in the right mood I'll be very outgoing butunderneath it's all and act and most of the time I'm quite shy really. I wish I could put up a front all the time but it doesn't work like that. I just can't find the conversation like other people seem to be able to.

Oh and not something I 'do' but my first two fingers are wonky

I forgot, just before I dunk my biscuits, I always hit them on the side of the cup to make any bits that are going to break off, do so before I dunk.

I have two different coloured eyes ( no its not freaky looking !!)

I have a freckle in my right eye ( I think... It could be left... Um!) ... Err. That's about as exciting as it gets loves :P Sorry.

One of my teachers back at school had funky eyes like that too. One eye was grey, and the other was half green and half brown! :D I actually thought it was quite beautiful, and I bet yours are too!

I can cross my eyes to scare off little kids..

Pft. Are you sure it's the crossed eyes that scare them off? Or are they running before you even get the chance to look

When I was 6 I contracted a mystery virus, which started in my ankles and stopped me from walking. I was in hospital within a few days and wheelchair bound for a while. The paralysis had spread up to above my hips before they managed to halt it.

Then I got better.... massive pills. Massive, massive pills... *shudder*

A good few years later we were on a family holiday and got chatting with a couple there. The chap had had the exact same symptoms and treatment that I had had! So much for my exciting and scary unique experience.

Even some threads aren't as unique as you would think

I have freckles in the shape of a W on my back... could be an upsidedown M come to think of it.

My eyes go extra green when I'm hungover. They are green to begin with btw, just brighter green when suffering with an overload of alcohol.

I can roll, and twist my tongue. Thought I might have trouble doing that since I got my tongue pierced, but no, can still do it!

Finally, my right foot is just a lil lil bit bigger than my left!

I have another one, but I won't divulge, it's VERY private!

i can twist my right leg almost 180 degrees

Riiight what else about me.. Well I put this in the YMNKTB thread, but my second toes are abnormally long.

Oh yeah, & you know when you're standing up & if you're doing stretches to warm up for something you might bend your leg & hold your ankle behind your back?
I can get my foot completely flat against just above my bum.
You probably have to try it to understand actually.
Oh .. just tried it, apparently I can't do that on my right leg anymore - about a million bones clicked very loudly. =|

I wear my sunglasses 365 days a year, inside and outside...

Reminds me of when my brothers gf went on holiday and got sunburnt on her face.... but she kept her sunglasses on for the whole holiday, so had these big white rings around her eyes!

Ok its not about me but my daughter has strange arms, maybe she's double jointed

One of my teachers had the same thing happen. He has dark skin, so the tan lines reaaaaally stood out on his face, and the frame of the glasses must have been really thick, as he had white lines round the side of his face, as well as rings around his eyes.
If he'd worn eyeliner, he'd have been indistinguishable from a panda xD

Edit: Kermy, my sister has weird arms like that too. =| It's freaky. She can do all kinds of weird things with that.


Oh, & there's a girl in my year who can clasp her hands together, lift them over her head & bring them down to her back, without taking her hands apart. Try it, it's impossible. But I've seen it happen

As for me... what makes me individual - I have a tattoo of a well known cartoon bird on my bum For a laugh - I was going to put it down for any "distinguishing marks" on my passport - but had second thoughts as knowing my luck - when going through security at check in and bearing in mind the current 'Critical Alert' they might want me to drop 'em for verification purposes
