Isketch for iPhone?

Hi there, was wondering if there is a way to play Isketch on the IPhone and other similar apple products? If it is not possible on the browser then could an application be developed for it? Thanks

Sadly there's no isketch for iphone/itouch/ipad. Some of us are hoping that someday the game will be adapted for these platforms, but that'd be up to the game's creator.

An iPad version for iSketch is currently under development, it will be released sometime next year.

There is an iSketch like game available from the App store called Depict. I haven't tried it though.

Here is a link to a YouTube video of Depict, it does look quite basic but it looks fun too :)

Unfortunately, Apple iPod Touch software can not do anything that requires Adobe Flash Player they are working to make a new devise that allows you to download the program on your iPod. Then you will be able to play isketch and watch numerous other videos on the internet

Wouldn't an iPhone be too small to play properly? Unless it was a specialised app that only other iPhone users could play, then at least it's a level playing field. Can't type on an iPhone fast enough eheh. But even then I don't think there's enough space for the keyboard and the picture even! An app for iPad sounds like a great idea though. But I don't think I'd be buying one just for that, addicted enough to the real version :P

For a device that lacks multi-tasking, no USB, no SD card slot, no camera, not a big storage space it will be something of a waste to buy just for one application.

Not to mention no support for flash player unlike other tablets that will support it like Blackberry tablet.

This won't be the full version would it, since iSketch runs on Adobe Shockwave and Apple doesn't support flash plugins on the iPod and iPad and this will most likely be done using Objective-C?

I would hope that the iPad app would be free because why else would someone pay and play on a striped-down version of the game when they can play on the full version on a laptop or desktop computer for free?

The iPad is very different to the iPhone in that people generally use the iPhone for when they are outdoors. iPad seems to be for a mixture of outdoor going people and those staying indoors. So a lot of people staying indoors would just jump on the desktop or laptop to play the full version.

Seems like a very, very, small market if that is the case and not worth the bother since you could also play the full version on the Samsung, Blackberry and the anticipated Google tablet for when that is released, which will all support flash plugins.

The best one out there GT is Charadium http://appstore.ngmoco.com/select-device/charadium and it's free to download.

Finally, there already is an "iSketch" iPad app http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/isketch/id342127184?mt=8

So there would be an issue over the name. Even if "iSketch" is included, the owner of this app can make a complaint to the app store about the similiarities in the application and the name. So the name iSketch might not even appear on the app

That does look interesting, I saw it on the advertising on iSketch yesterday. I don't have an iPhone, so I can't get it, but the images make it look nice :)
