Has this been tried before?

I thought of this due to the need for me and MrsR to play in a user created room (same IP) and the fact that we have so many players in different time zones.

We could create a room on a friday night (UK) and see if we could "man" it till say Sunday night. We may have to plan it in shifts, but might be interesting to pop in and out of for the weekend.

Just tell me if this a crap idea....

It's a fab idea. Just get spreading the word to all our friends in different timezones, and get a shift pattern going! Maybe the Australians should start the room off, then as they are settling for the night, us Brits are just getting our heads around its daytime lol. Then as we are ready to hit the sack, the Americans, or Australians again could take over.

Spread the word Rusty, I'm sure people would be game for a laugh!

Okay, I'm crap at arranging things, but here goes....

iSketch Marathon

Starts Friday 8th June 2007 7pm (BST)
Finishes Sunday 10th June 2007 7pm (BST)

I'll create the room (called Snickers) then op everyone we know. We need at least two people in at all times, so shifts will need to be arranged. Me and MrsR will take the first two hours. Volunteers needed from then on. Please post if you can definitely man the room from there on...

Also, suggestions for mods during the weekend might be fun.

Sounds good- I'll try to turn up somewhen (most probably will) but don't put me down as definite just in case.

Is it forum-people-we-know only, or anyone-we-know?

I have nothing planned for that weekend, so I will be about on both the Friday and Saturday night. I'll be there for more than 2 hours each night probably too lol. Maybe Rusty, you should put wordlists up so people can vote on what they would prefer. Then available ops could change the wordlist every hour or so... eliminates boredom, and gets your brain working a bit more!

Also remember, as much as some adults like a rude wordlist, lots of our friends are under 18! Tandem always goes down well, also 2 word BP. I'll leave it in your capable hands!
