Marrying/having sex young is not really a new trend. Juliet (from Romeo and Juliet fame) was only 13!

Tasha I do completely agree with you, I was just covering my own arse, as I didnt want any forum members then telling me that their niece/daughter/neighbour is 14 and a great mother etc etc etc ( at such a young age, good mother or not, you don't have enough of lifes experiences )

Very true vik, also although an immaculate conception, the Virgin Mary was believed to be only 14 when baby Jesus was born.

Gosh! There's a signature you wouldn't expect on the pedo register!

I agree though, I think 14 is simply too young for motherhood. Back then when people had a life expectancy of 30-something I guess they had to have their kids quick (or die trying) but with todays medical advances, it's so much better to be able to wait until your body and mind are more prepared.

BTW - I am BROODY and I'm not getting married until next year.

Good idea! I think I'd go with the bottle feeding option though, considering the alternative.

About my pedo comment - I hope everyone sees this as a joke, and that no-one is offended! It really was meant purely in humour - I am sure God has a sense of humour as well!

At my eldest son's school, they have cyber babies, where in there sex education classes both boys and girls, have to look after these dolls/babies. In the 5 years my son has been at that school, I haven't heard about a single pupil becoming pregnant or fathering a baby
