Isketch does not currently make any money. It seems they're goint to start making a little money as they've put an ad bar just below the game, managed by adbrite. A bar like that would probably cover its hosting and traffic costs, but otherwise the game is clear of any serious financial transactions.
Rob is the owner and creator of iSketch. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/isketch Edit: nevermind, the wiki entry was edited and at a glance it seems rob's name no longer appears on it.

Rob is our GOD!
He created isketch for us....much like God created the world. We should worship Rob. And feed him strawberries

* 2.0 thought there was already a cult of sorts for rob on this forum... Remember us pleading to the isketch gods (namely Ivonne and Rob) on the forum last october during the brownout?

I don't think the forum's ever dwelled into people's religious beliefs.
But being little pagans as we are, we do have this sort of isketch cult here And thus isketchforum it is called. Disclaimer: isketchforum has no association with isketch whatsoever or is sponsored by the creators of isketch.

I had some ads on screen last week and I have a habit of tapping my pen on the tablet to get it connecting before I draw - so I know where the cursor is. How many times did I log out of isketch because of it??? Don't answer - I'll tell you - 5 times in 3 consecutive games. I then reduced the window size so that I could only see the names and chat on the left across to the main box. I will use this in future - that way I don't have to see any ads. Or accidentally click on them

I've done what you've done, as that's the only solution it seems. Loads of people keep clicking the ads by mistake though. I see people vanish and come back and cursing it, lol. It's something I was going to write to feedback about, but I forgot. XD |

Erm - it does help - but you may find that quite a few of us use graphics tablets. Although if you can't draw to start with it just helps to make your already crap drawings less crap looking

As irrelevant as this is to the thread, I feel I need to stand up for touchpads again. Touchpad drawing is much easier than using a big bulky clumsy stupid mouse. It's easier to move your finger around in a way you want to draw than it is to move your hand, to move a mouse to get the picture you want.
