Wow! I'll be darned.... The forum is 50 members off 2000!!! At the rate this forum is growing, it wont be long until we're there!

It's great that some members who previously left, and were missed, have come back and that this forum is growing all the time. Salutations to people who don't post so much... but who read this thing on a regular basis. There are some truly funny moments here... look out for BadManner$, jewels, Nerdy and Facey & TempusFugit and many more...for the best giggles. I don't think that breaches the 'name and shame' rule. A rule, that thankfully, other than the odd doink who chooses to register and mistakes this place for a 'name an admin who banned you for good reason' site, we haven't needed recently.

Life isn't all flowers and butterflies, and this forum is a reflection on that because it has people with differing opinions who are all allowed a say. I'm proud to say that for the most part, we manage to do this without any trouble and the greenies do a great job of keeping order. One of them in particular sent me a pm in reply that was so hilarious I nearly fell off my seat laughing! He knows who he is.

Anyone can join here... it's also publicly viewable and you only have to look at the introductions threads to see that new people are made welcome. The iSketch admin who post here are to be commended, they always do their best to help. Again, they know who they are. BB *cough* BB. As we near our 2000th member, I'll be quite proud of this little online community.

I think we should celebrate this very illustrious occasion when it comes upon us! I have no idea how... hmmm... any ideas?

How about once we have reached 2000 members, see if the 2000th member will join us, and as many forum members as possible for a few games of isketch.

Would be nice to see if we could get a record for the most isketchers in one room, (although I believe cyber stands at around 80, but that was chat only).

I feel once we have reached 2000 we need a speech from Peter, oh, maybe Peter could put up some forum dec's like he did last halloween.

ps: couldn't go without a mention that msn isketch is nudging 4000 but so many innactive members *sigh*

13 people have been banned, and they don't count towards the number of members. i was trying to figure out all the people who were banned... i think i'm still short one.

The figure is a bit misleading in the way that at least a hundred spambots signed up before the 'anti-spambot question' was put in place. Although they signed up most of them make it past the e-mail verification. That's how I know

The concept is still good though! Lol.

I'm sure most people will agree with me on this but I don't think it's really fair to give anything to anyone just because they signed up at a certain time. The same prize would be a lot more fitting in the hands of a large contributor to the forum. Maybe something for the debate forum...

Well, when you go to 'Members List' the last page says there are 1584 members in total who show up in the members list.


I don't really think it matters though! The bot invasion has made the forum what it is today, so let's just have a big party at 2k!!

Ok it was a bit of a rush job ( and i'm not the best artist in the world ) but how about something like this. We have some brillant artist's on the forum if Peter agrees why not turn it into a competiton, but remember we may not have much time left, members are joining every day now.
