i really haven't been on iSketch for a while... and i'm sorry if someone's already mentioned this.

i'm just wondering, though. is it just me, or is it that anytime someone misses a draw, the server automatically puts that person on away?

No, the server shouldn't automatically put you on away. If you take too long to start your draw, the server will skip you and a message will say "username seems to be asleep", and then it will go on to the next person in the draw order. But your turn should come up again if you have not clicked on away. If this keeps happening or it's happening to anyone else, please write to feedback about it. Type /do and check if your name is in the draw order. Try clicking the away button twice in a row.

i wasn't paying a lot of attention, but i didn't remember putting myself on away, and when i came back, i'd be on away... o_O

i'll watch for it next time. it's not a big problem, though. as long as i don't miss a draw when i'm actually playing, it should be fine.

I've had that happen before gracie. Same thing. Had to go somewhere quickly and didn't get a chance to click away. When I came back, was wondering why I went through so many rounds without a draw, and realised I was on AWAY. When I mentioned it, someone in the room told me it was because I missed a draw when selected....

Yep. Miss a turn now automatically puts you AFK. Saves the rest of the room sitting there wondering if/when you are going to draw.

Sorry people, I was wrong. Apparently the server DOES put you on away. My apologies for my previous post and thanks to JASR and MsNerdinator for their help pointing me in the right direction.

It's because he and I are awesomely cool 'cause we both got 63 on Othello JASR, I still want that 64. It's so sad being one point away from the highest score possible!

it's going tobe a nice feature because some of the people who leave/aren't paying attention and keep missing their draws get annoying.

and if anyone gets 64 on Othello, i bet it's Nerdy. ;)

Yups, I love that feature. Also, when some people fall asleep during the draws more than once, you use to find the odd impatient person who votes to boot people out for it. That was annoying.

You shouldn't have said that, you'll rise him up to a challenge and he'll probably get it instead! JASR is too smart! But thank you for being an awesome cheerleader :P
