Exclamation New isketch tool!

Not sure if this is the correct section for this but anyway~

The 'Blur' tool has been added to isketch & has replaced zoom, works just like a smudge tool.
Also they added an undo button in the studio!

just thought i'd let people know! (:

Yaaaaaaay, the amount of times I've cried in the studio because I've needed an undo button! This is awesome :)

Also changed the circle & box tools.

I think the smudge tool is fine & undo in the studio is an improvement. However, the circle and box tools have been reconfigured to work differently. I think they were working fine the way they were and should have been left alone.

Yay.. :) Nice to see something new added.

And the square tool is way better... I'm not sure how it's worse.. the old version moved across the screen as you tried to put them down, making it hard to actually keep the square where you wanted, especially if you were putting more than one down. The circle doesn't seem that different, to me.

I agreeee with Belli, I don't see how the circle/square things are worse since now you can dictate the width of the line.

I quite like the smudge tool but will dearly miss zoom. A part of mishmash has died x

Oooh, there's new stuff in the studio! I love the new undo button, it will certainly make studio drawings so much easier. And it undoes up to 5 actions, that's more than Paint can do

The smudge tool is a nice new feature as well. It could be added as a Mish Mash drawing style. Hmm.. I think I'll also grab the opportunity to say that I mentioned it first if it does get added as a new style

The zoom in and out tool is still there but you'd have to use a keyboard shortcut. Don't forget, though, the standard keyboard shortcuts on the Drawing Instructions Page still work, so you don't have to use the shortcut as above :)

I don't think the square and circle have changed significantly enough for me to notice, but if they do seem different to some people, I'm sure you guys will get used to it :)

Drawing concentric circles was a lot easier with the old style circle tool - e.g. for drawing tyres. I would value that more than being able to choose line thickness (although that's also nice). I think the best way would be to have old style tool but with thickness option.

This is what happens with the circle tool now.

Not sure how I feel about smudge.

Photoshop-style modifier keys now work for circle and square:

- Hold Alt to draw from the centre instead of the corner
- Hold Shift to constrain 1:1 proportions for perfect squares and circles
- You can hold both to combine the effects

I was coming here to gripe and groan on the loss of the zoom tool, so glad Belli was here to save the day. Don't use it in game play, but for studio draws, zoom is invaluable. Now i can go play with the new smudge tool and undo without any hard feelings. :)

Circle tool definitely takes some getting used to... made* my panda drawing look really funny.

*Please note that all my drawings look funny and may be hard to guess. This just contributed to the skewness of the drawing

I much prefer the circle and square tools now. I always needed to try and work out where I had to click in order to get the circle where I wanted it...and I almost always failed haha. So much easier now!

And like Dologato pointed out, you can still hold down ALT to draw from the centre.

The smudge tool is cool...but not sure I'm ever going to use it. I might just have to go and make a point of using it somewhere!

I noticed that the instructions have to be updated too. There are still the zoom tool there and nothing about the new tool.

I wish I'd know this 24 hours ago, my colour palette was covering them The sad thing is, I'd read the thread before and just forgotten lol.

When drawing a cirlcle from the centre you have to click and hold your centre point then hold alt then drag (and hold shift if you don't want it to produce an ellipse).

It's also possible to zoom in using the - (minus) key but you can't zoom out using the + key :S
