New tools...Love em or hate em?

I'm fairly new to Isketch but I've been playing long enough to have gotten used to the circle & box tools. Recent changes have replaced the magnify tool with a smudge tool, added an undo button in the studio, and changed the way the circle & box tools work. Undo in the studio is definitely a plus. I've only used magnify once so it's no big deal, smudge is a good replacement. But I do use the circle & box tools all the time. I personally can't stand the way these tools work now & have to relearn something that was working great to begin with. I'm just trying to get some other opinions on these changes. What do y'all think of the reworked circle & box tools? Love em or hate em? Thank you for reading my post!

I don't use the studio much anymore so I don't really care for the undo button. But I guess it's a nice feature.
I do miss the magnify tool. A lot. I used it to draw tiny images pixel by pixel :( Apparently you can still use [+] (or [ß] on German keyboards) and [-] to zoom in and out.
I like the smudge tool. Not sure how much I'm gonna use it in common rooms though.
Not sure how exactly the circle and box tools worked before. I used them but never really thought about it... IIRC the circle used to have its center where you started to draw it. That's now changed and the enclosing rectangle's upper left corner is the starting point. I think it already was like this for the rectangle but I may be mistaken. That would mean the there are no changes to the box tool?
If you prefer to draw circles (or boxes) from the center though you can just hold down the [ALT] key after pressing the mouse button. To make perfect squares (or circles) hold down [SHIFT]. You can also combine these two.

I don't think the changes are bad. After a quick try in the studio I like them. :)

You can still press the Z key once to activate the Zoom command, then click away the same as before. Hold shift to change it from + to -.

I prefer to draw circles from the centre rather than the corner, but together with the Alt and Shift modifiers it makes the behaviour more like the standard functionality in Photoshop etc. so as long as I still can I don't really mind.

The biggest change to the circle and square tools for mine is that when drawing the non-filled outline-only shapes, the line thickness stays consistent based on your pen size no matter how big or small the shape. I hated how the line got thicker as the shape got bigger before - almost impossible to draw a big circle with a thin line, and you never knew what it was going to look like until you tried drawing it. HUGE improvement.

I love the smudge, I love the Rec tool, and I love the even line around the circle. I hate that zoom is gone (the solution confuses me especially when i'm in a drawing) and the circle was much better from the center. I think we should get rid of the line tool and bring back the Zoom... who uses that touchy line tool anyways?

The zoom tool is still there; press the Z key to activate it and hold shift and click to zoom out :)

the other post about this was created some ours before this one

again, I noticed that the instructions have to be updated too. There are still the zoom tool there and nothing about the new tool.
