Hey

I heard Pete Murray on the radio this morning, and I thought of Ozzette (who told me about his music a while ago).
I took a break from Isketch and came back using a different name, so if somebody I knew from before that break changed his/her name too, we'll never know that the other is online.

So we could use this topic to ask for members you haven't seen in a while. Perhaps others can inform us if they stopped playing, chose a different name, moved to the other side of the world or just miraculously disappeared.

I'm looking for Ozzette and Deadlock


Edit: I just got a message that I missed some chaos on this forum while I took a break. Note that I don't mean to open things up again, I have no clue what happened!

I want to reply to this giving full details but also want to protect people's privacy! So I can say that one of those players is still playing but under a different name.

I can't think of anyone I haven't seen for a while. I'll think about it and come back.

Well I played with those two people a lot and we talked quite often. I don't really think they'd mind but ofcourse they may be glad they finally got rid of me -haha :D

I miss this hilarious ALL CAPS IT technician guy i used to play a lot with a long time ago, he used to go under the name of Gergenator, but he's either changed names or never played again because i haven't seen him for about a year.

I miss playing in general, i don't have time to do it anymore, i miss my peeps 212, H, Whizzie, JennyW, MoonSp, Mdnight... it was fun hanging out with them, i hope i have some time to do so again soon.

Mr. I.Use.The.Spray.Tool.For.All.My.Drawings. I loved that! He used to draw perfect drawings with the spray tool and I never understood how. I was jealous of his perfect lines, lol. I actually miss him more than anyone, 'cause he was a great guy. An unbiased player (if you're wrong, you're wrong - doesn't matter if you're a friend. I like that). We haven't see him since Christmas, and a lot of us regulars who knew him miss him like cwazy.

Yup, there is life outside isketch. Just hope he's well, etc.

There's loads that have disappeared, where is that real life I hear of so often?!! Strumpet, Deadlock, Callous (one of the first people I spoke to), BoozieBird, CyberTiger and many more that right now I can't think of!

I think we are all guilty of swapping our names about dinnae. When I think, I've probably changed my name about 3 or 4 times, and this one has just stuck. I do tell the people I'm friends with though about the name change if it's a permanent one. I still do change occasionally, just for a quiet game, but it's SO hard not to invite people when they sign on!!

I have no idea why people change name and never tell anyone though, but everyone has their reasons why, and I respect that. I miss Deadlock too btw.

There are many reasons why people move on from isketch, some find life, some find God, some are found by admin

I miss btydaviseyes -any one have any info? she was such a nice lady and she just disappeared one day.

I miss a lot of the folk who used to play... Snowflake, Syph, 2_tone, there was a whole old crew of regs who adopted me when I was 'Buffy' and the rest is history. Not to worry though, there are more regulars all the time and more mates to be made. Times change, people change. I was once off iSketch for 6 months. I came back though... some folk, sadly, don't.

My best advice is if you've really bonded with someone swap msn addies and keep in touch that way. A word of caution though... be wary, people can lie about who they are on the internet, it's very common, so be aware that person may not be who they say.

I miss Ozzette on here too... but I sometimes see her on iSketch and grab a hug and a chat. If you're reading this Ozz... *hugs* We miss you.

Thank goodness for msn, there are people who mean a lot to me who I wouldn't be chatting to anymore because they don't play iSketch anymore. I have the numbers of a lot of people too and love to call them for a natter, my iFriends are indeed my real friends. I stalk them all by phone. LOL Seriously, (I hope) I think that's brilliant and it's always better to be sure who you're talking to! I'm really excited about the weekend and meeting some of my favourite people!

Well as long as it's on line it doesn't really matter if they're 16 and male as they say or 68 and female as they really are, if they're a nice person.
I've met plenty of internet people (always went fine although it wasn't always fun) and I think I've become quite good at recognising who's an on line faker and who is not.
