Anyone else got one of these?

I bought one in late September, to get it all set up and ready for GTA IV...

... then that was delayed until next year.

Then I heard about SingStar PS3

... also delayed until next year.

Then I got really excited about PlayStation Home

... also delayed until next year. See where I'm going with this?

Saw Stranglehold trailer - that looks good...

... delayed until... have a guess.

PS3 owners must have to be the most patient gamers in the world! lol

We do... but most of the time it pays off like crazy. Expensive games too...

What good PS3 games are on the market right now? I just realized the PS3 is the console I know least about...

Heh... I had a Wii, but the novelty wore off for me pretty quick. Multiplayer was a blast, but solo games were lacking I thought - and I felt stupid waving a controller around on me tod...

Good games... hmm... I hear Folklore is good, but I've yet to try it. Out of the games I have I would recommend:

Motorstorm - great off road racing game.
Fight Night Round 3 - IF you can get over the crazy long load times.
Resistance: Fall of Man - decent FPS
The Darkness - mostly decent FPS - bit too short though.
Oblivion - Well... its Elder Scrolls, so its good. heh. always something to do.

lol. Yes, run... before this degrades into a "Nintendo pwns Sony!!", "Ps3 kickz Xbox 360. true" etc etc. haha

Ah that's interesting. I was trying to think of why the PS2 was the most popular system back then. Think it was GTA, Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy. I suppose when more of these games come back the PS3 will be selling better. And good point on the Wii multiplayer thing.

heh not a Nintendo fanboy or anything. In fact, I like arcade games more than anything else.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma!

I was a huge fan of Ninja Gaiden/NG Black on the original Xbox, so when they had yet another re-release I had to get a PS3 didn't I. I don't know if it was a widespread thing or not, but they started selling a pack with the console, an additional controller, Resistance and Motorstorm for the same price as just the console was worth previously, so that's when I grabbed one.

One of the upcoming games I'm looking forward to is Little Big Planet.
