AHH carrot hun, stick to your guns, he was lying dont let him tell you otherwise, good on you girl for sticking up for yourself.

FYI, Mr Hunky is hunkier than Carter, and he knows how to keep his beard smart when it grows long :P

RC2: Seizure pains still being here :(
Haha, my sister and I watch ER religiously. Have for quite a while, we were incredibly sad when Noah Wyle left, I think that he was one of the last original cast members?
Sorry about the seizure pains. :/

RC: Really allergic to something else. Eyes are puffed, nose is running, itching like crazy. Gah.

We did have that much per night :/ I'm not sure how or why, but my school was very strict back then, considering it was a public school. All my other friends at different schools only spent a few hours per day on homework. And on some days wouldn't get any! Plus, most of them seemed to do 9 GCSE's, but we had to do 11. I remember coming home from school, collapsing on my bed after the long walk for just a few mins, and then getting out my school books and working up until midnight on a lot of nights, eating my dinner over my homework, and talking to my sisters and parents while doing my homework. Those were years 10 and 11. Those days were horrid. AJ being 4 years younger than me, when she got to that stage she did nowhere near the hours we had to do :( Poopooheads.

Ha, and that's my RC :P

Oh, actually...
RC: What is up with some secondary schools finishing at 2:30/45pm, etc? What kind of time is that to end a day? We had to finish at 3:30/35pm. Pfft.. kids these days...

A day? I spend a few hours a week

"Plus, most of them seemed to do 9 GCSE's, but we had to do 11"

And yet, I'm doing 13. (I think )

Sounds like you and your friends at other schools had it bad.
You seem so shocked at no-homework days.. two days last week I didn't get any, and a lot last year I didn't.

(Maybe I shouldn't be posting all this on the internet.. a teacher'll see it & start setting me extra work )

Lol, I guess my school is pretty good compared to most! Don't get a lot of homework, am getting a lot of exams out of it, don't have a long day, and finish early.

Er..RC? Nerdy was made to work far too hard at school!

I'm scared to share what hours my students do. Regular students go to school from 7:40 until 3:40 on Tuesdays through Fridays. I'd be shocked is they did more than one hour of homework, maybe two for those in college classes. If juniors or seniors wish (grade 11/12) they can take what is called O hour where they take College Chemistry from 7:20 am until 8:10.

For a small school we offer lots of college level classes... College Chem, College Biology, Psychology, Sociology, College English, College Spanish. They can take AP American History and can earn college credit for that. In any case when many students graduate high school they will already be a sophomore (year 2) in the university level.

My RC: having a four day weekend and having no money to take a trip anywhere!

RC: looking after my mother-in-law's very very old Burmese cat while she is away on holiday. Poor cat is on its last legs, about 15 years old, and is going deaf and senile. Also having rather bad accidents around the house, and today I had to clean up a whole kitchen floor that looked like it was covered in chocolate milk.

I think old Izzy is not long for this world :( and its quite upsetting as she's such a fluffy cutiecat.

AJ means to say that I've grated my knuckle 3 times with the cheese grater. All in the space of about 6 months. Cut myself in the same place! Ow.. it seriously hurt. I remember putting a plaster over it all three times and not being able to guess properly on iSketch, heh. Or even just generally chat without typoing, lol. Our cheese grater belongs to the devil :(

Its all those bloody celebrities they've got going in there... making loaves, selling milk, I've seen em on the telly. They're obviously not experts, and can't make the bread as fast as a proper baker.
