My friend can smell when someone has a cold, I thought it was weird but a few times I've been able to smell it too. And in case you're wondering, it smells like cola lol. Well to me it does anyway. My dad had blocked sinuses and some growth behind his nose/cheek a couple of years ago and whenever he sneezed it smelt like cola (eww, indeed) and it stopped after his op. When he sneezes and it smells it can cause some worry but so far, so good. Btw, the cola smell is NOT a nice one +o(

No, really, I felt it - although of course it was all imagination or impaired sensitivity due to high fever. I can still clearly remember the feeling. It was like someone pressed some cold iron... stuff on my arms and on my hands. Also stuffed an iron... thing it in my mouth and I could taste iron :D
It's weird but I've had it for years and years. The stronger the fever, the stronger the "pressed iron" feel.

I'd say it was blood pressure combined with a higher than normal heart-rate. The taste of iron in your mouth could have been blood tasted through the skin in the nose and mouth. The iron feel on your skin may have been a tightening of the skin due to a rapid heart beat.

Just a theory - interesting condition!

RCon: There was a tiny versoin of a hot air balloon floating past our house and landed in our neighbour's front garden just a little while ago. It was on fire-ish so we had to put it out. Dunno if it was some kiddish prank or an actual mini hot air ballon thing but yeah... weird. And kinda cool.

They're known as Chinese sky lanterns, I think. Like you say, sort of mini hot-air balloons. I'm not sure how safe they are with regards to setting stuff on fire... I can imagine them getting tangled up in trees, and like you say one landed in a neighbour's garden whilst on fire. Just imagine if that had landed in something more flammable, such as a paddling pool full of whisky, or a dog doused in petrol. Carnage.

I think that they look quite nice though. :)

Oh a Chinese sky lantern would make sense. We thought maybe it was a part of a Hindu festival or tradition because there's this temple not too far from us. A while back they had a huge fire burning at the front of the temple and it may as well have been on the road! Was a very dangerous main road too. It was so weird cos it was just floating right down our road as if being controlled by a remote or something. (Obviously it wasn't :p)

Lol. Those sky laterns can be quite dangerous :/ I was helping to staff at a festival and they set some off and they got stuck in the trees.. (they're silly for letting them off next to trees with strong wind tbh xD) and so yeah, they had to get them put out quite quick. So it's a good think you were watching, although they're supposed to be like. biodegradable and like go out by themselves. :) Meh.

A weird update on this subject. A while back I thought "hmm, fish and chips" for no reason whatsoever and could smell/taste chippy shop fish with vinegar. It felt and smelt warm too. Just thought "Oooer this is weird. Must tell storm" and for some reason I remembered it today. *shrugs*

RCon: Having the strangest deja vus! And dreams lately. Oh and earlier I was telling my mum how I memorised something so when she asked what it was I just couldn't remember it at all. Like properly word for word and in a different language but at that moment I just couldn't remember it. Well yeah, it just popped back into my head right now and I've noticed how I can only seem to remember it at night and in the morning. It's.. weird. And my fingers have a mind of their own when I write things these days, I swear. I was blaming some things on my keyboard dying but I've even started typing words twice in a row, a lot.
