Recipes!
Seeing as bumping old threads is frowned upon, I have decided to make another thread where forum members can share their recipes for others to try.
As you may have guessed, I'm a bit of a baking nut and will happily supply recipes to any who may want them And to start, Gingerbread Men for the lovely TF! Gingerbread Men 2 cups flour (plus an extra half a cup if too sticky) 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 tablespoon ginger 1 cup brown sugar 150g butter 1 egg Rub the butter into the brown sugar, then add one beaten egg - the mixture will be slightly crumbly. Wrap in clingwrap and refrigerate for half an hour. Roll out 5mm thick and cut shapes. Bake 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Happy baking! Last edited by RubyRed; 21-12-2011 at 12:02 PM. |

It's not because I don't think you're capable, even if you are a little incompetent at times... it's just I'll have no leverage if you do.

Okay I have the most addicting recipe ever. It's for something called Oreo Truffles. They are highly addicting. Just warning you now:)
Ingredients: 1 package regular stuffed Oreo Cookies 1 8oz package cream cheese 1 bag of white chocolate chips (or milk chocolate) Directions: 1. In mixer combine cream cheese and crumble in oreo cookies (all of them). Mix until fairly smooth. 2. Set mixture in fridge for an hour. Meanwhile melt chocolate in a double boiler, or something of that fashion. 3. Take out mixture and roll into 1 inch balls. Dip balls completely in white chocolate and coat evenly around(might want to use a wooden spoon for this). Set on parchment paper to cool. When all balls are coated and on parchment paper, set in fridge to cool and harden. When outside chocolate shell is hard, they are finished:) Recipe by blondbabe

Another quick advice food wise....
Try mixing together cream cheese and some sort of salsa(I prefer Picante but idk if they have that outside the US). And you have the perfect dip for chips. Tres bon.

Try this one too...mix cream cheese with a small tin of flavoured salmon (I like the lemon and pepper one) - another great dip! Or nice on crackers |
