I just tried to log on as 'tasha' but it told me that the username was already registered. I've never had this message before, and I just checked - there's no-one logged on called tasha. Is there an admin with that name, or have registrations become available?

i'm not sure Tash but I do remember BB saying they're coming and she was sure Rob would find a way for the regulars to be able to keep their names. I don't know if that has something to do with it.

I'm getting server full messages at the moment.

yesterday, when i had an imposter on, i did get a message saying that the username "was already in use." i added a period, asked the person to get off... the rest doesn't really matter.

i really want registrations, because i get far too many imposters. xD

I'm not certain that others are always imposters, but simply new isketch players who are unaware a certain username is already in use, I recently came across another jewels, she had been using the name jewels for at least 3 months, and because she was from usa, and myself uk, our paths had never simply crossed before, it was only when I was playing late one night and couldn't get on I realized.( the new message is great, at least I knew why I couldn't get on ) I logged on with a number 1 at the end of my name, I had very polite word with her ( as at present no one owns their username ) she did wonder why she was getting invites from players she didn't know, she was most understanding and has since changed her name slightly.

edit: however if it is real imposter, don't worry they will soon get bored and give up.

So, any idea when these will actually come?

Registrations were available to all players at one point, this Tasha may have claimed the name back then!

She did say shed never had that before.

I will add however that it was definatly not a case of tasha's name in use if the message says "registered" as i just tried for a nick i knew was in use and it said it "was already in use" instead of "registered" where as when i tried tasha's it said registered.

I did say I'd never had that message before, but that's because most of the time I log on as x_tasha_x, not tasha.

So I guess if registrations were previously available (when was that???) then someone could have registered it.

Just continue using x_tasha_x instead, hun. I don't think the rest matters with the whole tasha thing, 'cause it's not a name that you use all the time, anyway :)

As it says on the sign in screen at isketch registrations are not yet available but I'm sure you'll be informed when they are. The name Tasha has been registered for some years now.

ps to Jewels .... the original Jewels (6 years ago) was a doctor from Guernsey so these names do tend to get used by different players over the years.

It just goes to show that Jobe is a Chat n00b or he'd know Tasha.
