Hello,

Story ...

Some days ago I just thought "Are there any FaceBook sites about iSketch?"

The answer was yes, but they were VERY inactive or just unorganized / nothing new. I was really wondered about that.

That's why I made my own 2 active facebook-sites.

Something about both sites ...

The reason why I've got 2 sites? Well, one is in English and one is in German, my native language.

Both FaceBook sites are the same, but in different languages. Both sites have got link to the rules, to the game and even a welcome site!

Both FaceBook sites are active, they just need better pictures and more active players and likes.

There will be events and more if one of the sites gets popular.

I've already sent an E-Mail to the developers of iSketch via. info@isketch.net

The links to both sites ...

German: http://www.facebook.com/iSketchGER (It has its own username.)
English: http://www.facebook.com/pages/iSketch-English/326750657351035?ref=ts (Needs 25 likes to have its own username.)

Others ...

Both sites will have better pictures on the links
I need more people to keep the sites alive, specially the English one. For now I need 2 more English people who could help me.

On the German one I can do it alone for now.

I hope you'll check both sites out, like them and yeah ... spread it out!

Best regards,
Shesiressu

I love your enthusiasm, it is a great Idea but here is some feedback.

Have you mentioned this to feedback (info@isketch.net)? I think they might want to know about the benefits about how social media is a huge thing and they could bring many great people to iSketch.

Have you asked permission to use the iSketch logo? I believe that we had to get permission to use the iSketch logo on this site because of copyright, I could be wrong but you need to check on that so you do not get into any legal issues.

You posted the Website as iSketch.net Great that you are linking, but you might want to make it aware that the facebook page is fan ran. Otherwise you will get a lot of stuff you don't want Ex: How do I get unbanned, Why did you block me, etc.

You linked Do you need help to the iSketch page, inferring you are in charge of iSketch. Again be careful with this because even we specify WE ARE NOT RELATED TO ISKETCH OFFICIALLY IN ANY WAY and we still get the How do I get unbanned, Why did you block me, etc. stuff.

You have a lot to think about with this, I love the idea of iSketch reaching out to facebook, but email feedback first. Until then I suggest making the pages only visible to you. Ask them if they are okay with you making one and using there logo and linking to them, IF they say yes...go for it! But if they do not like it I suggest you delete it.

Good luck with this -Arris

Hi,

well,

I've thought about the same ... I can't edit the site name anymore.

For now I've deleted that "iSketch" Logo and added "Fansite" to some parts of the site.

I've even posted something that it's just a fansite.

Best regards,
Shesiressu

Also- here is another facebook website with ~5000 likes dedicated to isketch. Not terribly active, but it did have a post a few months ago!

Well, it still is not active.

I want to make events and so on ...

Why not try posting on the link that Jmac gave? If someone posts or suggests possible events, then I'm sure someone is likely to see and it will slowly activate interest. I think it's more likely to be successful given the number of people that have already liked the page, it's just a matter of creating interest and stirring up activity.

See if they will put it on the links page as well.

I think social groups are great for getting more people interested in iSketch. There are quite a few already on Facebook (of which I belong to three) and personally I would say this forum is somewhat of a social group, as there are no forums or social groups officially linked to iSketch.

Good luck with your Facebook groups :)
