We used to have one of these Daily Trivia things, but it seems to have ended abruptly a while ago.

I thought we might try another? Simply create an account the first time you play and away you go.

Ah. I wasn't sure who was the Administrator of the old one - I thought it might be an old member who doesn't come onto the forum anymore, didn't realise it was the Resident Simian! NVM - I found the button that says "transfer the administration to another player", so when it goes wrong, I can palm it off......er I mean, transfer it ;)

It's a nice site! The questions aren't too hard either.

lol hahhaa... I've been playing for years, but I've never seen those questions. :razz: We just... uhm... read faster. For e.g., in the tungsten Q yesterday (I don't know if you got the same), the first line read "It is known as Wolfram" (or something almost like that). So, I chose Tungsten immediately and went on to the next question even without reading the rest of the question! Aww... I'm gonna miss Fridays. :sad:

I knew it was Tungsten before reading the whole question, but I had to read it... it's just how I am, I have to read the whole questions and options ^_^

yup Sunny, that's a good habit. you must always read the whole question carefully b4 answering. but when it's obvious... and time matters... and you know the rest of it is just more info on tungsten, u can always read it later! just click tungsten and move on!

Darn I could have got 10 on this last 1 but I changed my answer from Goliath Beetle to Stag Beetle for some stupid reason, otherwise I would have got 10 again! I am surprised at how many I keep getting right just from wild guesses! >< =D

Yes, I didn't know 1 single answer from sports... I just guessed them all and got 5 points... 50% is pretty good for guessing if the answers have 4 options... I think :-S

The winner for the month could get to be the host for the next month?
The host chooses the categories for the questions, and chooses all/different, and then can pass it on to the next winner the next month.

I was just going to add that if you win twice in a row, perhaps the second time Tempus you could pass the hosting onto the person who came second or third, in order to give different people a chance to choose the categories :razz:

It finally took me less than 100 seconds to answer... I don't think I have to worry about hosting this any time soon :P

LOL, Fender is usually on at very late hours for him (UK) so I would say the changes won't take effect until tomorrow your time, 'Sadri. Given that the amount of days in each month varies, a day or two to changeover shouldn't make toooooooo much difference overall. Cept if it's music I suppose ;)
