Just want to get a feel for this idea, before i plan anything.
Does anybody fancy the idea of going over to ireland to meet cunny_funt.
Its a cheap flight, and only takes an hour, and our cunny_funt is worth the hassle.
So if anybody likes this idea, can you please post on here please as to when you would like this meet to happen.
Bearing in mind that, the annual meet that BB normally does may be in october, and id not like to clash with that ( cause i want to go to that one to lol ).
So just give me some names here who wants to come?? when do you want to go?? ect.

Problem being the end of august for me is a no no, as i go on holiday on august 24th.
I can go on 17th of august if thats any good:?:

17th is ok by me at the moment, but if mr jewels is away on business i won't be able to go, as lack of childcare, however i will know his plans within a week or 2. My schedule would be, fly from stanstead airport either late 17th or early 18th, then fly back late on the 19th, thus staying 1 or 2 nights.

Ok, just let me know what all you guys prefer. Do you want to stay in the heart of belfast, where the nightlife is... Or do you prefer to just stay in a hotel and get pished ? The ones in the heart of the city will be dear, but there is a hotel just down the road from where i live, which is pretty cheap and its lovely inside.. and the food is great. ( also i only live 5/10 mins away from city centre )

Anyways let me know what you all prefer, then i can get a list of names, together and some sort of prices ( specially when the date is sorted ), and we can take it from there.

Ok you lot the date seems to be the 17th of august, nothing set in stone as yet though.
The meet will go like this.
Fly out to belfast on the 18th of aug first flight in the morning, or an early one at least.
Then the hotel we will stay at will be the Balmoral hotel in belfast.
Then the best bit folks, no pubs no queues, no hassle, we are going to buy drinks ect and go to cunny funts house for our little meet.
I think this is a brill idea for us all, we can all get a delivery takeout for dinner and just drink all night lol.
The hotel is only 10 minutes from cunnys house, so a cab to the hotel will be cheap and fast.
We will have a great night lol.
Then fly home on the 19th of august on say an aftrnoon flight,

Just a quick update on the Belfast meet. Some if they wish can fly out on the 17th ( work permitting) or early on the 18th and return on the 19th August. I'm going out tomorrow to see what deals, that i can bag for us all. WildCherry is gonna get flight prices. So any of you that are wishing to come on the 17th pm me, wildcherry or ayeup. Need to get numbers sorted and hotel booked etc....

So i will post hotel prices, and instead of getting taxi's from the airport it might work out cheaper for a mini-bus.

I have had a little look for flights, the best airport to fly into for this meet is Belfast city ( airport code BHD)( not Belfast Intl) I have found a good out bound flight from London Gatwick, there is no reason why we can't mix and match airlines, I often do, 1 airway going out another coming back, click here (http://img154.imageshack.us/img154/3315/flightue8.jpg)for details of out going flight ( the flight is free, just pay taxes etc ) there is also an early morning flight that is also same price.

What I feel needs to be done, is that we need the names of everyone that wants to go, so we can then book flights, making sure we are all arriving at either Belfast city or Belfast intl at around the same time, also that our return flights are all of similar times ( hence mini bus pick-up/drof off)

What way is it going to work with lifts, to and from airport etc.. ?

As i could organise that this end, a friend of mine drives a mini-bus.. Gonna see him tomorrow and get a quote.. so i will post tomorrow, the price of mini-bus and hotel.

Anyone who is thinking of going, please pm me, with your choice of airports, please put at least 2 and rank in order.

The main airports that fly into Belfast int or Belfast city are

London Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton , Stansted,
Manchester
Leeds/Bradford
Edinburgh
Birmingham
East Midlands
Newcastle

( please note there are other uk airports, but alot of flights from other airports don't fly at the same time as main uk airports.)

We are trying to get everyone arriving in Belfast at around the same time so we can book a mini bus to pick us all up together, and likewise with the return. At present looks like out bound flights will be Friday 17th August (poss early afternoon) In bound 19th early evening. The sooner we book the flights the cheaper they are, plus also more chance of getting all the flights we need. If any of you just wish to go on Saturday for 1 night please also let me know, as will have to arrange transport for that day too.

Update on Belfast meet, having a prob with some of the accomdation,.. because it was left a wee bit late, it would mean that some of us would be here there and everywhere, and what is the point in that. Anyway on the brighter side... i have to make a phone call tomorrow to see what discount, i can get us all on a block booking. Now this is another lovely wee hotel, that does an awful lot of wedding functions etc... its about 6 miles from where i live. I will post some details as soon as i get a good price for us all.

Everyone has arrived in belfast safe and sound, cunnyfunt is soooooooo lovely, shes made us a great breakfast and we then played nintendo wii.
Had many laughs in bowling on the wii lol poor fruity dident do so well

Its 2AM now im not tired so yes im on hotel wireless internet, everyone else is in bed.

The first ppl, that got to met ME !! was WildCherry, Chloe, Fruity and AYEUP.. once the hugs were dished out we all went inside. Yeah I made them a wee bit of brekkie. I didn't meet them again till Saturday evening, meet them all at the pub, and this time I got to meet Peanut, Fairynuff, Kissy and Scotlandtheb and the most delightful was Fairynuff's son he is such a cutie pie. Stayed at the pub for a bit, then hit my flat for a drinky poo's and chinese... Only we sort of forgot to order food :rolleyes:

I have never meet a more lovely bunch of people, they all in their own way totally made my weekend.. Yes I have photographs, but photographs are nothing to the memories that I will hold close to my heart. I would like to thank you guy's for always asking if I was ok etc... I am gonna miss you all soooooooo much.

I laughed sooooooo much last night, my jaw was acutally sore from laughing. It was an hilarious night. You guy's are totally awesome and like I said, I will never forgot what you all did for me ..

We had a really great weekend, cunnyfunt was an awesome girl, we loved her more than we ever thought we could.
She has the most amazing flat even has a special room just for her tumble dryer lol.
The weekend was all a cracking laugh, we drank together had some great meals in some good irish eaterys.
Blinding irish stew lol.
Scotlandtheb, is a real sweetheart, a right gentleman, the rest of us loved him, and our
chloe well she can be my new sister, i love her so much.
Anyway good times had by all, the best meet to date, there are some very interesting pictures as well, anyone wanting to see them pm me.
And yes there is gossip to be told as well, but ill need permision from certain parties before i spill the beans, but the rule normally is gossip stays within the meet group, if you aint there we dont normally share lol.

Hi everyone, ive been a member on the forum for a couple of years but never posted anything before now. Just had to say, thx to everyone for making my first ever meet so warm and welcoming and wild. I really enjoyed myself.Cherry was lovely and so funny even when she's not trying to be lol.And thx Cherry for holding my hand on that blooming plane and putting me at ease by explaining what all those funny noises were it was making lol. Cunny you are lovely, you made us so warm and welcome in your lovely flat. Ayeup, well, i just wanted to hug you all the time, Fruity was more shagable than i thought he would be :P, Harry is a real genleman, so kind and caring. Peanut is sweet and a real knight in shining armour giving me his coat when it was cold. Kisskiss was lovely and kissable, and Fairy was lovely with so much confidance, and last but not least little James the little darling for putting up with us all lol. Im sure Room 808 has never and never will again see soooo much action lol. Im deffo coming on another meet in the not so distant future. Thank you for a lovely weekend, loads of eating, drinking and talking. The party games were fun but I now have a craving for grapes, anyone care to explain why?

Was great catching up with Cherry, Peanut, Ayeup, Fruity and Fairy (+son) and absolutely brilliant to finally meet Cunny, Chloe and Scotty. Was it just me or did I feel some bonding going on?

And anyone expecting me to blush or apologise will have a very long wait!
