Please use this thread to request a new tournament. The mod who sets it up will replace his/her name with yours.

Please let us know any special requirements you have for the game, for example amount of turns (default is 3) and number of players (default is 8).

This thread will be stickied so it doesn't get lost, and will be placed in a special arcade section of the forum when one is made.

The reason for a new thread for tourny requests is because they sometimes get lost in the huge arcade thread - and it's sometimes hard for a mod to know whether you're running an idea past the other arcade players, or actually requesting the tourny officially. So this place is just for official tourney requests.

Ya, just use the arrows to move higher and lower, to avoid the bubbles coming out of the holes, and then jump over the ones that have no bubbles to get your points. Ta-da XD

You'll never guess what happened? The first row of holes all had bubbles, so there was no avoiding being hit. Then the next row of holes had bubbles too! So I got hit again too early. Then later I hit myself again.. :rolleyes: And kaboom :( That's probably the worse score I've had in Ollie Skates.. lol. I don't need to say good luck to you, storm. XD

For Tritryst: Just try and get three of the same colour in a row - horizontally or vertically. You get 3 points (I know.. skanky!) for a row of 3. However, if you happen to get a row of 3 with another row of 3 at the same time, then instead of 6 points, it still gives you 3. :/

You don't actually get any points for clearing rows, whether it's 3 blocks or more than 3.

You get the 3 points each time you put down a piece, which is why the number of points isn't affected by how many you clear...

You get no points for clearing rows, just for putting down the thing that cleared the row. So whether you clear a row of 5 or 3 at the same time doesn't matter because you've never been getting points for clearing things in the first place....

Yeh, I noticed that - I remember thinking it looked harsh enough when the whole box came up grey when you got eliminated....let alone bright red for being disqualified!

No I meant that it logs me out of the forum during every game and my score is never submitted. It seems to timeout really quickly. One of those games would have put me in third place as well :sad: I always have to rush to actually get a score and don't seem to get much time to think about my moves.

If you don't play before time runs out you'll get disqualified even if you have a higher score than the person you're playing against who hasn't run out of time.

You mean if he didn't play all 3 rounds? But it shows that he played 3/3? Or does it default to that when disqualified?

You can get dq'ed for running out of time even if you've only played 1 game. If you played all 3 games, and didn't play for another 7 days because your opponent hadn't played all their goes yet, then too you'd get dq'ed for running out of time. And yeah, it defaults to 3/3 once someone's disqualified. It defaults to 3/3 (or 2/2 or whatever the max number of chances is) for everything really once the go is over.

The instructionsss are in the gameee jenski.

You kill blobs of goo, ghosts, and evil sorcerers before time runs out. You collect timers and money bags. It's really simple. You just move the arrow keys on the keyboard to movee him.

What I like about this game is that it's tourny-compatible i.e. you can't keep hitting replay; it'll submit automatically ;D

Eh, I don't get this. It sounds easy.. but in the first room, you have a padlock thingy in the way. I"m trying to move left or up.. and he's not doing anything. Not even moving his sword.

You mean the exit? The door at the top left? You press the up arrow to go in. Stand 'in' the door and press the up arrow. The door you enter by won't do anything. 'Tis in the instructionss :)

To move your sword - press the space bar (you need to be facing the creature to kill it)
To move him - use the arrow keys

(The only thing the instructions don't tell you is how to get past the electric bar that divides the room - for that you strike one end of the bar with your sword about 6 times and it'll break)

EDIT: the door with the padlock is the entrance - you can't do anything at the entrance.

Oh, nevermind, lol. It's a browser compatibility thing. Sometimes it happens with other games.. where it just gets stuck and doesn't move when the game starts. Actually, it happened in the recent Pacman tourney. Blah.

So I just close the browser page and open it up again and it does the trick (most of the time). I see it now and it's been working.e Although my first couple of scores were rubbish, hehehe.

Hmmm yes.
I don't think that game really lends itself to a fair tournament tbh, as a lot depends on the letters you get as the bonus ones, and where you are to place them. ie For my 22,000 tourny score, I was lucky enough to get the letter G in 4th and 8th position - which is easy enough to come up with - singing, sagging, rigging, hugging etc - but I have also played where I get the letter V in those positions.....which would obviously be a little more difficult. Would be a good tourny game if you were guaranteed the same letters. :rolleyes:

I'm feeling the need to be involved in a tournament, seeing as I've been eliminated from just about all the ones running atm :embarrassed:

Lol, he is. When he does sleep, he sleeps for a good 3 hours each time. He's a bit sick at the moment, so he wants me a lot more. But, to be honest, 'cause I'm feeding him myself, it's easier to play games.. you should see me here multi-tasking sometimes.. feeding him while holding him in one arm, and then using my other hand to play a game.. :razz: Or sending emails out to my sisters while typing with one finger. Which, btw.. is annoying. O_O

My meds 'cause me to feel low, so hubby encourages that I do as many things as possible to keep me occupied :) And talk to as many people as possible. Oh, and it's also easier to play games, 'cause I'm on bedrest again.. :rolleyes: I'm sure I'm accident prone :(

sigh.. I came up with a new strategy.. well, maybe not as such, but just something a little different to what I was doing before. I just played and got my highest score so far at the end of level 2.. 40,111. Blah. And it was all going so well after that. I got to level 7, nearly near my last high score (in the leaderboard) and kaboom.. the tart cheated, lol. If it didn't pop all my ships straight away, I reckon I would have had the chance to beat JASR's highscore >_<

I gotta admit.. after I discovered that I can play a little bit better than I normally do, I was hoping that you'd be eliminated so I could put it to trial properly in the tournament, lol.
