The arcade is deffo on my to-do list. It's my birthday tomorrow and I get Wednesdays off so I'll probably catch up on forum work then. So to answer your question: within the next 48 hours.

Sorry, 48 hours turned into about thrice that but it's there now and high scores etc. seem to be intact. I'll upload the missing games tomorrow, and some new ones! Oh, I started working on a new theme aswell but all the image files seemed to be currupt after the background one so I'll have to download them and try again.

ARRRRRRRRGH. i've just noticed that Zach.. er. PimpdOutPope played a game in the arcade! and since he's the only one who's played it so far, he's the champion.. lol. IT'S STILL NOT WORKING FOR ME!!!! ARRRRGH. I WANT TO TRY OUT THE NEW GAMES, THERE'S 65 GAMES NOW!

37, but they're all very low scores :P

Also, aside from the obvious duplicate games in the arcade, with the same names.. The games "mumu" and "tritryst" seem to be exactly the same.

One more thing, the "apples" game seems to have a maximum score of 100, which is very easy to obtain..

Some games work if you open them in a new window Jewels. Try doing that.

Let me clear that up tigs. You'll see some games have scores and leaderboards, but it seems impossible to get in, everybody's getting an SQL error.

The solution?

Click on the "(play in new window)" link of the game, that'll get you the game you want. Don't right-click and open in new window to play because it won't work.

Now, for some reason some games are duplicate, and the duplicates don't register scores, so play on the ones that already have scores, and if they don't have scores yet, or don't have a duplicate, try it to see if it registers.

There was another, can't remember which one, I gota high score but it didn't register. Actually, thinking of it, that happened twice.

I'm very impressed to return after a while and have such cool games :biggrin: Thank you, we all really appreciate it. I don't expect any of my high scores to last for long tho :razz:

Cheers. These new games are brilliant, there are a few that just don't load for me (I'm waiting to try typing test in particular..) but I've got a few top scores. Not for long, I expect!

How do you get your name on the score bit at the top?

Re arcade, my keyboard and mouse have taken quite a beating today, now alot of the games don't seem to be working aswell, e.g when clicking and dragging etc, is anyone else having this problem ?


edit: not all of the games are loading now, I can't get crazy closet.

Tasha, I asked that before and didn't get a reply I can only assume that it goes on time played etc and not just the score.

I think the right denomination is ASCII, but it's pronounces like aski.

you use the arrows, the up and down keys are which stunt youll preform and left and right kind of control your direction and help you do flips, the point i guess is to do as many tricks as possible and not fall off the trampoline

You're not right clicking and then selecting the new window option, are you? If you look underneath to the list of games that includes the high scores and everything, you should see an option there for playing in a new window. Just a normal left click will do it.

Problem on the helicopter game.. dunno which one it is..it's the green one.
It doesn't submit my scores anymore..I'm sure it used to, coz I'm pretty sure I'm on the highscore, but now it says "score not submitted" ...

So I was playing magic ball, and had some ridiculous score like 3800, and then it stopped, and went back to the "play game" page, with the still unfilled screen of circles that I had as the background. I checked the high scores on another window, and it said nothing about my hot new score. I played for over an hour! And my hands age gross and clammy! I feel like crying :cry:

i would just like to say that i didnt open the window for the other space invaders game, it was little tupp she is quite good , and i wasnt watching what she was doing. I dont want to ppl to think im open to cheating lol .

And Re: not being able to submit scores- for anyone who had this problem:

If you finish one game & it takes you to the high score page, pressing Backspace will take you back to the game but it will mean your score will not submit.
However if you're in the game & can press F5 to refresh before it goes to the highscore screen, it will still work.

Yeap there is, but when pressed just says not allowed for your user group.:sad: seems only you greenies can do it.

I reckon you could try for 8 at a time, that's just my opinon, I'm sure we will get 8 players for every game. Also what do you think , if players who get though to the next round don't play until all contestants from the pevious round have played ?

he still has a few days left, then whoever wins out of myself and Peter has 3 or 7 days to play against Tasha, then whoever wins that round has up to 3 or 7 days to play you in the final. Only a suggestion, but it's normal in tournaments that you don't play the next round until all games from the previous round have been played.

I've just had a bad experience with the first Tourney I've entered :( I was playing a blinder third round and for some unknown reason, the page re-loaded and it didn't submit my score, just said that I'd already played my three games. I must've pressed something on my laptop without realising or something :(

See the three images at the top?
Look for them in the big grid of images. If you see them, click on them & they will become highlighted.
You have to get all of them highlighted before the time runs out. You start with something like 90 seconds & it goes down by 5 each level.
The 3 at the top change frequently. If you click on one that doesn't match, it will change, and you'll lose some points.
Uuummmness. I think that's all. =]

I do hate to complain but,,,,,
In the tetris torny twice this happend, i was bringing down a block to insert in to position, and it just went mad it just dropped all blocks that followed and ended my game twice.
It is only a game but i was well disapointed cause i had over 25,000 and i could have kept going for much longer.

i was playing tetris, and it went up to about three quarters of a page because i was waiting for that long piece that has four blocks in a row. i had a piece that was touching the top of the page, but not going through it. i got the long piece, but when four rows were eliminated, the piece that was still touching the top remained touching the top. the piece came down, but every time it did, there'd be another yellow block touching the top.. and it kept going until i had this huge line of yellow blocks going right to the top. :|

i don't know if any of you could understand that. the main thing is that tetris got screwed up for me too. i just wasn't playing in a tournament.

It's showing you've won 1 tournament, congratulations by the way. Refresh the page perhaps? i don't know if it's a cache thing.

It's ok now, mitch-mitch is on to the next phase.

I don't know why it does it, sometimes it takes a while to work itself out, but there's obviously a problem there, which apparently seems to fix itself whenever i walk in and yell at the tournament board. So keep reporting these bugs, i shall keep yelling!

But if it's any consolation, in my last round i did 30450 points and it didn't registed because you finished your third game before i did (we were playing at the same time), so only that crappy 29575 is showing, which might encourage my contender in the next round. In any case, i predict Dinnae in the finals; i might not be so lucky in this round.

I've refreshed the tournament, try again picasso.

Funny thing though, technically, if a person's played 1 game and had a better score in that one game than their contender's 2 games, then it should automatically move one player. This time it's not hapening though, not sure why. Oh well. Try again.

I have a huge complaint!!

Pacman is logging me out weather I play it in a new box or not. Whenever I play it, it logs me out which then means I can't save my game AND I have to log back in. None of the others have done this to me ever.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I cleared my cache yesterday and I think it's been going on for about 2 weeks and, as I said, it did the same today...twice :eek:

I got really frustrated after the first game because the mouse i have at work stinks, so i went into a fit, threw the mouse at the wall, shattered it into about 5 pieces (i'm yet to recover the ball), and subsequently tried playing the other 2 games with a laptop. Let's say touchpads aren't the best for that hehe. Anyway, congrats again, good luck in cellout.

My game often loads mid-game (like it's retrieving a new file), which makes it lag a bit. Usually just before you're about to return a ball.

I just did something I've never done: I won one ball against level 9! It was insane (5 bounces against the side, twice), and an incredible amount of luck was involved, but it IS possible! Still couldn't get to my tournament score though :(

As I said in a PM to you, it took a lot of effort near the end, the 63, to work out how to keep the computer playing.

Once you've beaten me at Othello, you can move onto Tritryst... now that's a long game!
