Okay folks I got a big list of games here that will be uploaded in batches over the next few weeks. It would be super helpful if you could spend some time playing games in the arcade, rating them and if a game is duplicated/broken please post it in this thread.

If there's some games that get a really poor rating then I think it's fair to delete those too.

I dunno, they both seem pretty similar but I dunno if the physics are different, lol. Perhaps it is best to delete one...

I played Ms Pacman and it seems like the only thing different is the physical XD I'd vote for deleting the Ms Pacman, because the other one has had more people play it already.

Stick Avalanche : The original game (which I downloaded from the arcade) works fine. I believe that the game is designed as black in white background.. and here it loads as black in black background and so it is "invisible".
(Gameplay similar to Watch Out)

Yeah I just looked for the rating thing myself and it turns out you gotta favourite a game before you can rate it which is just plain stupid programming. I'm looking for a fix atm.

You have to do the ones on the outside.. or next to each other.. it's like.. uhh.. hmm. the ones on the edges, that are next to each other, ones across gaps.. ones next to each other.. make sense?

Yetisports 5 - Standard Edition is broken.
Then again, I assume it's similar to the other Yetisports games.

Edit: For TF, in MahJongg Connect, you can only select two matching tiles if they can be joined with a line with only a maximum of two turns in it.

I tried playing it.. like i was just clicking randomly to end the game.. even then it took so long to lose even, but somewhere near the end the screen went all black.

Hmm.. the Yeti 1 Greece game doesn't submit your score if you put it in your favourites O_o lol. Did anyone else notice that? When you submit the score it just takes you to a page that shows softballchicks high score (and no one elses). Maybe it's got something to do with my browser..

But nevermind, I've just taken it out of favourites instead. Just wondering if others were having the same issue.

It's weird, when it loads to just the person who has the high score, it doesn't actually submit the score for me ('cause I've been to the leaderboard to check). I thought it had something to do with having it in my favourites.. but it turns out after even taking it off favourites, it's gone back to not submitting it again. I think it's just random. Nonetheness, I don't think it happens all the time, so it's probably worth keeping. Plus, it might just be my browser - compatibility issues. Happens sometimes with these games :/ I use Safari, and for a few games, I have to go into Firefox.

I've had something similar to that. I have no games in my favourites and it only showed the top score.

Also, I don't whether it's a problem with my browser, but Stick Avalanche decides to crash sometimes. Something about aborting something or something or other o.0
It's most likely to be the video player thing that runs the game, I guess.

I think Weapons of Mass Destruction is a really rubbish game. The amount of time you take to play it is proportional to your score. So someone could just play it but not do the last pair, leave it... then submit it after 1 week, and the score will be massive. Totally pointless. :rolleyes:

It's a game from a site I used to develop for, I'm trynna port it to the arcade so it's glitchy cos I'm still trynna get it to work.

I guess its just how they programmed it. Though the falling things appear as triangles, they are basically flash symbols covering a rectangular area. So it won't be enough if we just evade the tip of the triangle.. but have to move off a distance that equals the base of the triangle. (I hope this makes some sense)

Ahhh. I see. I guess it's easier to program squares rather than triangles, although it make the game that little bit harder.

Well, the "Submit score" button is down the bottom right, and it's written in black... So just hit your TAB key a couple times until it highlights it in yellow, and you'll know where to click.

I did this after I finished one game of Solitaire, I'm not sure if you can submit a score before then

It's fine until you get a row of pink heads. If and only if you eliminate some pink heads, the window goes completely black. It's only the pink heads that have the trouble.
I would suggest deleting it because it's impossible to complete one level without destroying at least one set of pink.

But yeah... I'd say give it the boot as well. It's like Bubble Trouble anyway, except they're heads not bubbles and it drops from the top not shoots from the bottom. Same same.

I found something that looked like a bug in the TIE Fighter Shooter game. It was a tournament match, and as I was playing and losing life, the life "value" became negative, and so it started into an infinite loop. The game would never end. I had to close the game :/ and I missed a turn :(

LOL yeh, and the game doesn't have a 'start' button, it just kinda starts as soon as the screen loads. For my tourny game, it wasn't centred on the page so I couldn't see half the game.......by the time I'd scrolled the screen, I'd been hit about 4 times........

Eeek, there's not much I can do about these games that glitch out sometimes... best we can do is just tolerate the errors :/

On the plus side I think we're due a new batch of games, I'mma start uploading/installing them so hands on buzzers, lol.

Yep I always use New Window for arcade games - much bigger and easier to play.

Some games are easier in smaller windows though - like Zelda for example......not as far to move your mouse/pen to click on the pairs. But Mahjong Connect definitely has to be in a new window so you can differentiate the tiles.

Speaking of Zelda.. I've only ever gotten a perfect thingo twice, and as it gets nearer to the end, I'm lucky to get one pair straight off the bat because they close so quickly! :O Saffy: trotter track champion? WD!

I'm having a problem with Majhong connect... when I complete the first level it sometimes comes up with game over as well as next level, they overlap each other. I click next level and then it says loading... and never loads. :sad:

I've had that problem too Buffers. Sadly, I think it is just a bug (and a blinking annoying one at that too). I finished Level 1 in record time once (with over half the timer bar still to go) and it did that. Mightly annoyed :mad:

I wouldn't want Peter to remove it though :sad:

/me thinks Mahjong's time and scoring is completely screwed up.
As much as I love Mahjong it takes the mick. I've cleared the board in record time and it's not wrong 'cause I timed myself yet I still don't move up the board. People with times double mine or more are still at the top :sad:

ooh *AJ* - how fast you clear the board is only one aspect of the scoring in Mahjong, apparently.

I read that every tile has a base value, and whenever you remove a tile, your score increases by that tile's value multiplied by half the number of pieces in play. So if you remove the higher valued tiles first, you end up with more points....check this out (http://www.ultimate-mahjong.com/howtoplay.php)

That may be a different mahjong? But it might explain what is happening to you.

Edit: I just had a quick go, and the score adds 20 for each pair regardless of what they are.....hmmmmmmm, so maybe it is just messed up, lol

It's still possible.. but in the "end bonus point" that you get when you've found the last tiles. Maybe that's where it all gets calculated. If that made sense :S Not sure if this is how this Mahjong works though.

And about Mahjong connect - very annoying that when page comes up. Especially when you get 960 in the first level! :mad: Gah! But.. saying that.. I'm still in love with the game, and wanna beat saffy's score, lol. xD

btw 965 is the highest I have got for Level 1...I did one today where the timeline was almost full up I clicked so fast...but it still gave me 965. Anyone ever got more than that in Level 1?

I was really happy to see Plops was added to the list of games, but I only get the music, no picture! (In firefox).
