Hey i really like this game play it quite a bit and just got banned for the sceond time, the first time i accidently drew something else that wasnt teh word, I mis-read the word and drawed the wrong pciture, Banned on the spot.
Ok so that first ban didnt last long, got over it.
BUT i just got banned for a second time, which is permanent i read.
I accidently had caps lock on, and some really power-hungry admin or something like that banned me right away, he first called me a retarded idiot for using caps then banned me right away, no chance to reply or anything.
I really think its lame how I could get banend permently for using capital letters for 1 sentance, and what i said was nothing close to rude either.
these power hungry admins need to get removed, its ruining the game and its reputation. I really mean this too.
Contacted isketch, the instant reply email says if you are requesting to get unbanned the chances are slim of getting a reply back.
So I dont expect them to unban me after reading that.

A. Did it say blocked or banned? Because sometimes it's just periods of time where you can't get back on.
B. Please don't name admins. If you could edit it out of your post. :)
C. Have you had any other past offences, a.k.a. drawing penis.
D. At least you've emailed feedback, all you can do is wait as we're not directly affiliated with the isketch website, so we have no control over what they do. :)
If your story is true then I'm sure you'll get unblocked, but usually there's another reason than what has been explained. :)

Sorsie is right. It is not under the authority of the forum to unblock or unban you. Feedback controls your case.

They didn't ask the forum to unban them, and they already mentioned that they contacted feedback.
This thread is merely complaining about an admin, and saying it's ruining the game (and a bad admin is much much worse than a bad player tbh). This is no less worthy of a thread than people complaining about any aspect of iSketch.
Let's discuss things on our discussion forum instead of saying "no point in saying you don't like ______ about iSketch, guys, just tell feedback".
banned me right away, no chance to reply or anything.
I actually think it's a major flaw that people are blocked and banned in this way, with no opportunity to explain things or question the admin. So many incorrect blocks may be avoided if someone was asked about something before the "all knowing" admin blocked them without saying anything.

NoHints actually does bring up a good point, and that is that admins make mistakes. I've seen it happen a few times now, and while the admins overall do a great job and it's not an easy task, I think the process could use some work for the instances when errors are really made.
Though I also agree it is inappropiate to name admins on the forum, regardless whether that admin has had multiplie conflicts or confrontations with players (Nearly every admin encounter of course) or has made a mistake.
Admins are not power hungry, they're hamburger hungry.
Send hamburgers to feedback. Do email them first about your ban though, you were probably just blocked again.
Note that there is a difference between a ban and a block. It's in the instructions page on the game's website, read it. This is need-to-know information when playing isketch.
Do admins just ban right away without talking to people first? I can't recall from my rebellious days what exactly happens, although i do remember being blocked for 24 hours, but it was well worth it haha.
Seriously though, I think No Hints hit it on the head when he said that we should be discussing things. The automated response of "we are not affiliated... bla bla bla... feedback..." gets kind of old, and I am guilty of doing it as well. But thats one reason that we have so little activity is sometimes we dont like to debate, and we feel like we need to be uber-politically correct. Loosen up, liven up, and sprucen up! (No, I am not quite sure what sprucen up means, nor am i quite sure what the point of this post was)

They probably don't ban that way but blocks without talking are pretty common.

You know 2.0, that's not the first time I've seen you mention hamburgers in a post....I have to ask, what exactly is your affiliation/obsession with hamburgers?
And jmac, I enjoyed reading your post, I think you phrased it really well, haha. Thanks :)
I'm the forum's regular burgerking troll.
About bans, admins usually do exchange a few words with the person about to get banned, usually asking them to desist.

Well I mainly posted the admins name to see if he would reply back to me on here since theres no real way of contacting him. And it does say iv been banned , ( banned , blocked , cut off, etc..) Its just lame that I hardly broke a rule, wasnt even intentional no swear words or anything, and permantly banned. Hopefully this admin mans up and comes on here and talk it out, might have banned the wrong person? who knows.
And no reply from isketch yet about ban being lifted.

I've usually seen that, too. Not necessarily blatantly as admins, but exchanging words nonetheless asking the person to chill out. And the violator continues to be a dick, draw a dick, suck dicks...

It was the word sprucen. You should use it more, it really cheers up your day.

LOL that was like the "in-thing" back in first grade. The kids HAD to have them. Surprised to even see them still.
BTW, who here wears those goofy rubber band bracelets that take the shape of various animals when you take them off?

hahaha who changed the title of the thread?
that is hilarious.
Admins are not power hungry
Amended the thread title to fit with this fact.
Was tempted to change it to "hamburger-hungry" though
