Charley is THE most self-centred person I've ever seen on BB, I think! I don't even think I've ever met anybody who is all ME ME ME so much of the time. However, I did like that bit of jealousy she created on Chanelle's face after her "date" with Ziggy. But, um hello! Did Charley imagine all those signals she thought she was getting from Ziggy? I'm so glad that he seems to have his head screwed on the right way!

On the subject of Ziggy being chased around the house the other day and having his shorts taken down - why have the girls not been warned for this? The Interview
I saw posters on the forums on Friday afternoon getting all in a lather because there were rumours that BB wouldn’t show the Davina interview to the housemates. These posters thought that by showing the “dastardly” Charley slagging off her fellow housemates and then going back into the house, Charley would get the comeuppance she deserved. I could feel these forum members practically salivating at the prospect of Charley being ostracised and ganged up on on her return to the house.

What in fact happened was that Charley was refreshingly sweet in her interview, saying the loveliest, most thoughtful things about Carole, and even being quite sweet about Chanelle (until she saw how nasty she was in her nominations). The interview showed Charley’s remorse at her angry behaviour in the house, and shock that people who she thought were her friends had put her up for eviction.

So the Charley haters expected her to be obnoxious, vile and ♥♥♥♥♥y and show lack of remorse for some of her behaviour, but instead Charley was sweet, funny, honest and self-admonishing.

So, first disappointment for the Charley haters.

The Re-Entry
Friday afternoon saw forum members and BB audiences anticipating Charley’s re-entry into the house, predicting that she would “kick-off” and hold grudges against those who nominated her. Instead, she instantly forgave them and was childishly excited by the whole evening. She displayed a very humane, forgiving side to her nature. The ones who really hung their heads in shame were the nominators, in particular Gerry, Liam and Ziggy. Gerry droned on and on about Channel 4 showing the least important of his 4 reasons for nominating her; Liam looked ashamed that he’d stabbed his smoking mate in the back; and Ziggy had the whole Chanelle/jealously/bunny-boiler thing to deal with.

So, second disappointment for the Charley haters.

Charley’s Delusion
One thing I will say is that Charley had an amazing knack for filtering out the vast majority of the crowd who were booing her, and seemed to only see the very few positive reactions from the crowd. I marvel at this aspect of her (and I am convinced that it is genuine because I think Charley is too sensitive and insecure to take on board hatred and rejection). The result of this delusion was to put the frighteners up people like Chanelle and Gerry who were convinced she was the most hated woman in Britain (which she probably, inexplicably to me, still is), and now are so worried because they assume that public must hate them. It made me laugh so much to see Gerry desperate for Charley to tell him if there were any negative placards about him.

So Charley haters, you got your wish: BB showed the interview to the house and allowed her to be mercilessly booed … but she’s still going strong! I know Charley is unlikely to redeem herself with the Charley haters, but I am so happy in the knowledge that, boy, were they and the BB producers disappointed by the turn of events.

I know most of us dislike charley, but come on chenelle is much worse.

Seems they've axed next year's Celebrity Big Brother, but I'm a little confused as on the radio they were saying Big Brother itself was axed too and likely to return in 2009.
