View Full Version : Can admins make this mistake?

I have already e-mailed feedback about this, but I just wanted to ask some people here

I was playing in a room with a very rude person, saying vulgar things to me, and drawing rude/unrelated pictures. So after a while I voted to boot them, mainly because of the language. And this other person was clearly being warned by an admin, because he was commenting on it and swearing more.
Then I suddenly get kicked and blocked, with the message 'this isn't a drill'.
I have never broken any isketch rules, so I think this was a genuine mistake. I wasn't warned or anything, because there was nothing wrong about my behaviour.
So my question is, can admin type in the wrong name to boot or something? Because I'm just really confused as to why I was blocked for someone elses bad behaviour. I'm not having a go, I talk to admins quite often and get on well with them. I just want to know how I was blocked for doing nothing :S.

Hey there Morrissey :)

Seeing as admins can kick/block/ban any player who is breaking the rules, I would imagine from your account Morrissey that this was a genuine mistake by the admin.

You have done the right thing by e-mailing Feedback, and I am positive that they will answer your query promptly and accurately. I'm sure you already know that if you have simply been blocked rather than banned, it is only a temporary measure, and you'll be able to play again in no time.

Good luck and hopefully see you in the game soon :)

Yes, it happens and it happened to me less than a week ago.

I've seen it happen multiple times, actually and it's a pretty damn stupid mistake to make even if you allow for the "only human" argument.
