I went in one of the chatrooms, and this guy is threatening to find me.. I tell him he cant, and he says "just wait, you'll see."

Do you think he got my ip address? Can he find me? Im scared!

Yes he can, but only by username. The command is /find username. You can see all commands in the isketch instructions page.

If you log out and change your username, unless you tell him who you are, he wont be able to find you.

Added: i havent tried it in a long time but last i check, the IP lookup command was disabled, so unless you voluntarily hand over your IP address, he wont have it. And even if he did have it, there's nothing he can do on isketch with it.

i meant he meant he'd find me in real life to "shut me up." thats what he said

No, no way. Even if he did have your ip, which he probably doesnt, it's extremely unlikely he can pinpoint your location and find you. Just relax. If he bugs you again, ask him to PM you your IP address and then compare it to your actual IP address. Chances are that he wont send you anything, and if he does, it'll probably be wrong.

Consider changing your username still and dont reply to his messages ever again. Pests like these thrive on the attention you give them.

I would imagine this is one of the reasons why iSketch removed the ability of viewing someone's full IP address.
The /ip command shows only the first two octets, for example:

Player1 is coming from 48.217.x.x (hash code stuff)

2.0 is absolutely correct, your complete postal address cannot be found from the first two octets of your IP address :)

Blimey, you thanked 10 threads in about 8 minutes. You must really find all of this so useful ;)

Heh, you didn't see some of the now deleted posts they made :unimpressed::P:

Edit:
On topic: If someone is threatening to find you and being rude about it..

1. They definitely won't be able to pinpoint you exactly.
2. Call an admin in by voting. I would suggest having screenshots of the text as being helpful because even if the rudeness stops, you can still show an admin what happened before they came in :)
