Hi I havent been able to play for 3 days and I'm a bit curious if I'm banned or not. Not that I'm aware of it also since I've never had anyone kick me out a room before. And I've never been warned by an admin... :( .So I'm very unsure if I was banned or the website servers are just down :P.
All I know is that everytime I type the URL the page doesn't display at all. So if anyone can tell me whats going on it will be very useful :) !

Try some of these suggestions taken from other threads within this section of the forum:
For some reason IE is the only browser which works with iSketch for me. Any other browser I use, such as FF or Opera, despite Shockwave uninstalls/reinstalls, freezes after a short time in the game, or doesn't load the game at all. I always used to use Firefox to play iSketch, as I hate IE, it's awful, but I can't since I got a new PC. FF worked fine on my old PC but has never worked on this one, not for iSketch. I use it for everything else.

Well, i'm new to this.. and yesterday was my first time playing. I tried to log on earlier today and thought.. you know, maybe the servers are down but i don't know or don't think that is the case. The link on top is a picture of how it turns out to look like and it just stays like that...
What operating system are you using? And have you tried different browers? Looks like a problem related to Shockwave, but I could be wrong on that.
Have you got shockwave installed on your computer? If not, to download it, click this link:
http://sdc.shockwave.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi
If you have got it, try uninstalling it (because it might just be bugged up) and then reinstalling it, following the instructions on the link above
Also try clearing your cache.
Good luck
Have you mailed feedback (info@isketch.net) ???
This should always be your first course of action.

I think this should be the second course of action actually. If every one dropped feedback an e-mail everytime their isketch didn't work, feedback would be flooded with e-mails about complaints that feedback couldn't do much about anyway.
I would say, that although this is an unofficial forum, it contains plenty of useful information from members and if people are aware of this forum and the Help section that exists here, then checking here should be their first course of action.
Saves a lot of people considerable time and effort.
what bb problably is trying to say is that Feedback is one of the options you can try to sort out your problem.
Another option is to read:

I agree storm - there is so much useful advice here. Whilst we may get the same sort of questions again and again - that would be no different for Feedback either.
Whilst isketchforum.net may be an unofficial forum - it is still by far the most popular one - and one that has proven time and time again, that players go to for information.
Edit: And what Clau said too! They are all options open for everyone and with respect to Banned Players - Peter, the Moderators (and members here) always direct questions to Feedback on that score. If we can release some of the enquiries that feedback get by providing useful information - surely that is a good thing.

If feedback is what people are to use 1st, the whole Help section may as well be deleted

I've had a few problems in the past, and in those cases, I've emailed feedback, but posted on the forum straight after in the hopes that I might be able to get a quick reply that can solve my problem. I think the forum is good like that.. plenty of people reading and someone might be able to help and reply before feedback can.. and ta-da problem sorted :D
Of course, when people are posting about silly things like begging to get unbanned (and thinking this is officially connected to iSketch), that can get irritating.. /flirt feedback
Anyway, OnionHead () welcome to the forum, and good luck with your problema. I hope it gets sorted :)
Hi I havent been able to play for 3 days and I'm a bit curious if I'm banned or not.
Feedback are the only ones who can check to see if a player has been banned or blocked. I'm sure no players here would want to help a player evade an admin sanction no matter how unintentionally.

....but - Onion Bagel then goes on further to explain what is happening....

... which is where Saffron's post is probably correct. Of course, after trying these suggestions first and still no joy - then the next step would be to contact feedback. It would certainly free up the people responsible for this area to concentrate on players who have more complex problems or those who have rightfully be blocked or banned.
I also fail to see how doing the above could be construed that members are unintentionally helping a player evade an admin sanction. As NoHints stated - what is the point of having the Help Section on the forum.
Edit: And welcome OnionBagel! I do hope your problems are resolved soon

That's why it's best left to feedback.

Well.. it looks as if we are going to have to agree to disagree then. As Clau stated earlier - feedback is one of the options that a player may use (and should use if they have been blocked or banned - a point always emphasised on here) - but there are other avenues that can also be explored too.
If iSketch itself feels that this forum has overstepped the boundaries in offering simple advice, then I am sure they would let Peter know (and I am confident that Peter would react immediately).

Hi again...I'm a bit amazed on the replys this thread has recived (thank you all).
I haven't really shown the error I've been getting.so here it is,
http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee233/ra2yuri/isketch.jpg
yup, thats the isketch url and the page doesn't load. I'm very confused and I'm beginning to wonder if its because I've had the link in my Favorites :P.
And the reason I had posted on the forum first is because I can't get the linkt to the feedback. If someone has the link or their email please post it. Nothing else is loading on the isketch page for me >_<.

Haha! It's getting so many replies because I had a different opinion...
As for feedback e-mail address: if you hold your mouse over where it says 'feedback' in BB's post, you'll see - where it currently says 'Done' (above the Start button on your computer) - the e-mail address. So in other words, the e-mail address is: info(at)isketch.net
And obviously, replace the (at) with @
Did you try all of Saffron's suggestions? She made a quality post there for you.

yes thankyou.
And I really didn't know what to try with Saffron's suggestion since I already have IE explorer and the latest version of shockwave.

Read the other posts in the links of Saff's posts? They contain more information. Personally, I would suggest trying a different browser. Some people think it cannot be a browser issue, because, as in your case, IE is a popular browser for iSketch; but my IE did one day suddenly decide it didn't like iSketch, and instead of bothering to find out why, I just got Firefox, and my iSk works with Firefox... You could always give Firefox or Opera a shot.
Maybe clear your cache/internet history.

Yes, and one day a friend of mine couldnt log on for a day - I think they had a similar message to what you were getting, and it turned out that their ISP was having some issues that day, so it also might be just a case of waiting it out.

Do you get the same message when going to this page directly?

Also, are you trying to get on from your own computer, or is it in a school/office/similar?
It's possible that the site is blocked on the network your using if it's not your own.
(This is a good example of when the forum is useful, as the person couldnt get to the feedback link or help section)

Smash it against the wall if it's a PC, and then buy a mac. That *may* help..
Okey, on a serious note, that failed to load page you're getting I think is more linked to the ISP than anything else. 'cause normally if it's a browser, shockwave, etc problem, it tends to at least take you to the iSketch page (and that's where the problems occur), but your 'puter isn't even taking you that far :/ (I could be completely wrong, but I've noticed that to be pattern most the time).
Seems like a silly question.. but have you tried using someone elses computer in the house (if there is one) to see if the same problem is there too? That'll probably mean that it's the ISP..

Have you tried going to another site that is shockwave dependent or is it only iSketch?
You said you aren't sure if you were banned or not. Is there any reason you might have been banned? If I have understood you correctly, you were not disconnected while at iSketch anytime, you just can't get the page to load?

well thanks guys but I think its solved... For some reason my network has been the problem. I tryed reseting my IP and it started working. I only did it at a risk though since some people said reseting your IP doesn't work for iSketch. And now I'm good again. Thanks for all you help guys :) .
