Just like the books.
Example:
Person #1 Says...
You enter a dark forest. Which way do you go?
Go left--Page 12 Go Right---Page 5715
Person #2 Says...
You decide to go left. You end up being shot dead.
Etc.
The point is to make up a random adventure.
And btw.
You can pick any page number :P
I will start.
You notice a dark forest at the end of the road. Do you go left, right, or talk to the mentally retarded owl sitting in a tree between the two directions?
Go Left--Page 2--Mentally Retarded Owl--Page 5--Go Right--Page 6

I'm kinda confused on what is supposed to be done :(
so does the person pick which page and then decides what will happen from there??

You talk to the mentally retarded owl who tells you to give him some mice in exchange for a map. Do you:
Look for some mice (Page 8), Frisk the owl for the map (Page 19), Go left (Page 2) or Go right (Page 6)?

You approach the owl and give it a quick frisk. You are unable to find a map but do find a mysterious silver box tucked under his left wing. You:
Keep trying to find the map (page 77), Take the box and run (113)

You take the box (which is locked) and run, but in your haste, forgot which direction you took. Do you:
Go back to the owl for directions (Page 2), Look for a key (Page 55) or Smash the box on the ever-so-conveniently placed rock next to you (Page 114)?

You look over at the ever-so-conveniently-placed rock next to you, and decide to smash open the silver box. Unfortunately, it is made of seemingly impenetrable (is that a word?) metal and you must find some sort of smithy to help you get into it. You look around and see a sign which posts nearby towns. You look at the town with the closest distance, "Owl's Nest" Do you:
Look down the list for the second closest town (Page 3), Keep trying to smash the box open (Page 35), or Make your way toward "Owl's Nest" (Page 82)

You do both (of course). you throw the box at the monkey (page 47) whilst shouting" you open it then" (page 35) and watch as the monkey cracks the box open on the conveiniently placed rock, like he was cracking open a coconut! and inside you find a map! (easy )
the map is braile! do you?:
give it to the monkey in hope he is a blind escapee from the local lab (page 24) or go back a few pages to the wise owl? (page 2)?

You pass the braille map to the monkey in hopes that he can translate for you. Foolishly, you forgot that monkeys have such a mischevious nature, and the monkey climbs the nearest tree and swings away with the map in his hand. You still have the broken silver box. You:

You keep on feeling away (the map of course!) and you notice that the raised dots are in fact a path! Having located the sun, you line up the map and attempt to follow the path. It leads straight to a swamp, with a rickety old boat moored at the bank. Do you:
Mount the boat and hope it will get you across in one piece (Page 73), Dive in and take your chances swimming across (Page 82) or Walk around the edge of the swamp, hoping it's a small one (Page 40)?

You mount (the boat of course!) with your map in hand. You take another quick look at which direction you should go in the boat...and the map points straight into the eerie green mist at the opposite end of the swamp. You look around for a paddle and realize that there is nothing to be seen. You go to get back out of the boat to look for a stick, and the side of the boat gives way, spilling you into the muddy swamp. You:
Stand up and continue searching for a stick to use as a paddle (Page 281), Sit in the mud and cry because your designer jeans have been ruined (Page 189), or Say "eff it" and swim across the swamp (Page 6)

After swimming a few minutes, you notice a sea monster in the middle of the swamp. Do you:

You look frantically into the depths below you, seeing only a frightening shadow. You figure you've got the situation in the bag, and coninue swimming towards that green mist. It starts to rain. You:

You find some rope on the undergrowth (someone must be looking out for you :D), hoist it over a high branch, and slide up the greasy.... tree trunk. You hop into the nest (It's about 8 feet around!) and investigate its contents. An old sweaty sock, a piece of shiny jewellery, remnants of a mouse, a mysterious piece of paper, a couple of empty egg shells, a peacock feather, motorcycle keys...whoa what?! A mysterious piece of paper??!?!?! You grab the mysterious piece of paper and unfold it. It's just a bunch of random raised dots on a page!! Grrr, looks just like that other piece of paper that led you to certain doom and a movie set. Well, you pull the other map out of your designer jeans pocket. You put them together and discover that yes, they are just a bunch of raised dots on a page. You then realize that they must be braille and not some sort of mystical sun sign, since owls cannot see very well. You then look around for someone who might be able to decifer them for you. Before you get very far, you see a grinning monkey staring right into your face! Startled, you:
Jump out of the nest and fall to the forest floor (Page 52), Hand him the maps and beg for forgiveness (Page 20), or Distract him with the peacock feather (Page 28)

Of course, you turn to Page 28:
You once read that monkey's are immensely ticklish to peacock feathers, so you begin to tickle the furry creature. He laughs and laughs and then tells you to stop. You carry on but then realise that he just talked to you in English so you halt in astonishment. You ask him how whether he can read the map for you. The monkey scratches his head, takes out a flea and eats it. Then he offers to do the same to you, so you let him in the spirit of human-ape friendship. He then motions to you to follow him and clambers up the tree. Do you:
Take after your new found friend (Page 41), Think that it's ridiculous to trust a monkey (Page 63) or Look for more fleas in your hair (Page 5)?

You race after the monkey, keeping his tail in sight, since he's going pretty fast. "Hurry up!!!!" he exlaims. You keep climbing, but trying to go faster. There is no way you could climb a tree as fast as a monkey but you try anyway. You climb past another nest and then you feel a monkey hand on your shoulder, dragging you back. He had stopped at the nest and you didn't see him! So you enter the second nest which looks much like the first nest, except there is no peacock feather this time. The monkey (let's call him Jim) attacks your hair again and pulls out a few more fleas. Then he sits down cross-legged and begins to hum. He is meditating. You:
Sneakily grab the maps and slowly back out of the nest (Page 192), Wait for Jim to be done his meditation (Page 14), or Attempt to shake him out of his trance (Page 153)

Of course, the cult leader is the monarch butterfly (har har, I'm funny) which also frightens you. You:

You use your psychic powers to direct the butterflies straight for the trees in question. They charge as quickly as their little wings can take them. However it seems as though the owls have returned home to sleep for the day (because they are nocturnal, silly). The thought had not crossed your mind for even a second that owls like to eat bugs, especially of the monarch variety (they have expensive taste). The owls figure they don't need to sleep quite yet, and charge your Butterfly Battalion. Needless to say, the butterflies don't put up much of a fight against those nasty birds. Well, they were cult followers anyway...

You can feel their piercing gazes on the back of your neck and you can stay still no longer, so you sit up and face your fate. The largest owl steps forward, offers you a wing, and introduces himself as Quentin, Mayor of Owl's Nest. He tells you that he is prepared to overlook your unprovoked attack on his community if you swear never to take up arms against him again. Naturally you agree, and to your surprise, he invites you up for tea and cakes. He seems a nice enough fellow (after all he did spare your life) and as you stand up to follow him, you notice a golden key hanging around his neck. Do you:

You decide to take Quentin up on his cordial invitation, and follow him up a tree and into one of the huge nests. It seems as though Quentin takes you right to the very first nest that you had visited, the one with the other half of the map. Which calls a question to mind: "What happened to that map anyway?!" You think back, and seem to recall dropping it on the ground in your flight to get away from Mildred the Ghost. You shrug, remembering your frustration at trying to read the braille, and bring your mind back to the task at hand -- the golden key. You concentrate on eating your mouse cake with proper owl manners, so as to not offend Quentin. However you cannot even choke down the tea as it has a taste only owls could love  After the small talk has gone on long enough, you say to Quentin:
"Well, it's been nice but I had better get going...cheerio!" (Page 57), "GIVE ME THAT KEY!!!!" (Page 923), or "So tell me, where did you get that beautiful peacock feather?" (Page 265)

You just don't have the heart to grab the key off the neck of your host, so you begin to talk about the peacock feather, which had also caught your attention (it must have come from such a large co.. peacock). It transpires that this feather has been handed down for generations of mayors in Owl's Nest and it is thought that it contains mystical powers. Being curious, you probe further and Quentin tells you of the legend of the "Coming of the Two Legs" who will unite the feather, the key and one other object which is unknown to the owls. Quentin then admits that he brought you up here to ask you to be the bearer of these objects and to fulfil the legend. Do you:

You chuckle at the convenience of the placing, and hop off of the trampoline. Then you remember that you forgot to ask about any hints for the third item! Shrugging, you set off to find Jim since he might be able to help you. You find him swimming in the swamp with the sea monster -- and then the thought dawns on you! The third item must be being guarded by the monster, in the dark muddy depths of the swamp. You:
Take the peeeeecock feather off of your ear and tickle your nose with it, because sneezing helps you think (Page 983), Roll up your designer jeans and start swimming towards the sea monster (Page 72), or Run back to Owl's Nest to tell Quentin of your idea (Page 43)

Page 3210:
You climb up that greasy tree trunk for what seems like it might be the last time. You savour everything on your way up because you are very unsure as to what Quentin might do with you once your quest has been completed - will he shower you with praise, or will he dump you out of the nest on the side where there is no conveniently placed trampoline? Either way, you feel as though you are doing the right thing, as a martyr perhaps. You reach Quentin's nest and see an assembly line of owls (who all look basically the same). Seated on the far right of the assembly line is our good friend, the mentally retarded owl (remember from the beginning?). You hope that he doesn't recognize you since you attacked him and stole his silver box. You:
Take your tiems and leave the nest for fear of being recognized (Page 83), Stand proudly and present the three items to Quentin (Page 77), or Charge and push the mentally retarded owl out of the nest, hoping that he can't fly (Page 40)

Having come this far, your curiosity gets the better of you and you march across the nest, placing the items at Quentin's feet. He gives you a resounding hoot of approval which knocks you back a few steps. He then takes flight along with all the other owls.... except mentally retarded one. He offers a wing, indicating he is offering you a ride to follow the other owls. You're unsure whether this would be safe or not (can he even fly??). Do you:
Go for the safe option and refuse to fly with him (Page 11) or What the hell! Let's go and fly! (Page 66)?
(I hope I do this right)
Page 66:
You're unsure whether it's safe or not, but you decide to go for it. You mumble "What the hell" and accept his offer. The mentally retarded owl leaps into the sky and starts flying. You cannot see the other owls until you look behind you and notice that the mentally retarded owl is flying the opposite direction. You:
Say "Uh.....you're going the wrong way!" (page 14) Just go along for the ride and see where he takes you (page 78) or Try to steer him the way you want to go (page 45)

You have far too much to lose now due to a mentally retarded owl who can't even fly in the right direction. You're not about to try reasoning with him because you have no idea just the level of his mental retardation....so you begin to steer him around to try and catch Quentin and his crew (Lets call them the...Quentin Quintuplets). They're at least two km ahead of you, but you lean into the mentally retarded owl and eventually he picks up speed. You reach the Quentin Quintuplets in record time, and ask them where they are going. They look at you inquisitively, and Quentin says "Why we're going mouse hunting, of course! Who are you?" Absolutely stunned, you:
Shout at him, explaining the quest he had given you (Page 8319), Say "Cool, I like eating mice!" (Page 3817), or Just steer your owl down to the ground and you set of in search of the way home (Page 82149)

Do you: try to flirt with Jim anyway by offering to eat a flea off his head so he takes you to the party (page 294), say your mentally retarded owl is your date (page 507), or stare longingly at the party then leave because you haven't got a date (page 934)
page 934
You stare longingly at the party then decide to leave because you haven't got a date. You start off on your way home a bit disappointed that you couldn't attend the party and a bit confused at your whole ordeal with the owls when suddenly a dark figure on a strange looking beast appears ahead of you in the path. You
Scream and run back the way you came towards the monkey's couples only party (pg 87) Jump into the bushes and try to hide (pg 34) or Cautiously approach the figure and question who he is (pg 16)
bumping this because I wanna know what comes next in the story!
