In this game, you put up a pattern (of anything, could be numbers, shapes, diagrams, words etc).
The person who correctly guesses the next part of the pattern gets to do the next one.

The next number is 15. Starting with 1, you add 1, then add 2, add 3, add 4 etc.
A, 3, F, 10, O, ?

The letters correspond to the number they are placed in the alphabet (ie A = 1, F = 6, o = 10). Starting at A (1), you add 2, then add 3, then add 4 etc

I got the answer but mainly because I googled it :P
19 because the numbers are the first letters of the days of the week and the 7th is S for Sunday ;P
I had started checking them as letters but was expecting a word so didn't go all the way... figured it would be best to let someone who had worked it out properly get it...

Ahaha This took me a while but the next number is 96. You look for the old post number on the posts in this thread and then yeah the last 2 digits of the post number is the next number? :)

Aha! Got it. The answer is 16.
The numbers "translated" into letters are W, C, N, I, and T.
The name of this thread is What Comes Next In This Pattern? And Why?
Therefore the next letter is P for Pattern, and "translated" back into a number is 16.
Next up: V, I, B, G, ?

Ah yes, I remember this one.
All you need to do is read out the pattern as you see it.
You start off with:
1
The next line is the "read out aloud" version of the previous line, "there is one one". These numbers are placed in order, 11.
It now reads:
1
11
The 11 line can be read as saying "two ones" hence 21.
It now reads like this:
1
11
21
Again, reading out the line in English, which would be "one two, one one" hence 1211.
It now reads:
1
11
21
1211
Following the same steps the next line will be "one one, one two, two ones" hence 111221, and the pattern continues from here :)
Next pattern: L, M, A, O, 15, 1, 13, ? (This pattern contains only 8 elements)

L= 12th number of the alphabet.
The pattern is palindromic, so in numbers would be 12,13,1,15,15,1,13,12.

Okay so that was a stoopid one. Here's the answer, and I'll put up anothery:
The answer is 2. For this reason:
1 1 was 1 race horse.
2 2 was 1 2.
1 1 1 1 race.
2 2 1 1 2.
Anyhoo, lol, here's a proper pattern:
