View Full Version : Completely Unfair ban.

In English Expert UK, the word 'breast' comes up and the drawer puts a gigantic pair of breasts on screen. Shortly after that, in the last seconds of a found word counting down, someone draws a very crude outline of testicles on screen. So when it comes to my turn, I continue the tradition on the last five seconds of my word after someone has guessed the picture for laughs and someone hits to skip before my time runs out. And about a minute later a message comes up saying that I'm blocked. Any idea how I can get around this so I can just go back to the game?

I don't see anything "Unfair" about this. But if its only a block and not a ban, you can wait till the block period is over.

Umm for the breasts it was realated to the word so its kinda allowed... but from what you're saying about the testicals and whatever you drew it wasn't related to the draw so you're gunna get skipped/blocked... :(
And um for the block you're just gunna have to wait :) shouldn't be a long time if it's the first time it happened.. but if you really feel you shouln't have been blocked you can always email feedback :)

So if it's the last five seconds on a word and someone scribbles something unrelated on the screen, like it seems a quarter of the game does when time is almost out, I can mark every last one of them? Sounds great. I can't wait to get back into the game and be a complete jackass to everyone at every available opportunity. ^_^
While you are blocked from the game, and to be certain you won't be blocked in the future, go visit Isketch Instructions (http://www.isketch.net/instructions/index.shtml)
Just click it and see where you can vote at or be voted upon, that way you know when you will be blocked again.
My advice: don't scribble anything or draw testicles in a regular room, when you have time left. User creator rooms are superb to draw whatever you want and you won't get blocked or banned! Whooot!
Good luck and see you soon back on Isketch.
You're in the wrong and saying "everyone else does it! :(" doesn't change that. As Clau says, if you're in a User Created room you can draw dicks and testicles and sit there laughing and applauding yourself all day if you want. Or get some paper and a pen. Endless fun.
Oh, and as for your question... if it's a block then just wait it out. You'll be able to get back in soon.

On iSketch there are two types of admin kicking, blocking and banning. A block is temporary and in some cases, you will be shown the period of time your block will last for. A ban is permanent, in which case you will see the word "banned" in your message, when you try to log on. If it mentions the word "blocked", then it is only temporary.
And if someone draws unrelatedly, or writes the word without prior use of the hint feature, even after their word has been guessed, vote them. People can still guess the word in the grace period while they are writing it.

The only times pictures of testicles are allowed are in User Created rooms and cyber!!!!!!!! , msn+cam sex, incest, horny girls rooms - all of which can be found at the bottom of the room list

iSketch: The only game where you can draw big, bare tits and have 'boob' or 'breast' as the word, but god help you if you are cute with the one you are given. 'Entry' comes up. I draw one stick figure bent over on all fours and one standing behind it and it's arms on the other's back, neither with any graphic detail, a two bar up top with an arrow pointing into a box for the first part. Admin kicks me for 'not drawing my word and graphic detail'. Eat my ass, admin.

That's because there are better, less graphic ways of drawing the word entry, like a no entry sign, for instance.

I agree db. I would further add that players in English Expert are less tolerant of juvenile draws of this nature. Read the rules carefully (especially relating to graphic drawing) and be grateful that you were only kicked on this occasion and not blocked or banned.
I also doubt whether the admin would 'eat your ass' - kick it yes, but eat?
Perhaps creating a user created room for your artistic interpretations would be a much easier (and fairer) way of exhibiting your take on words? Best of luck.

lol, I can understand what you're trying to say sketchily, but you're in the wrong, too. The artist before you deserves to be blocked before you, and you might've not done what you did if it weren't for the previous artist. So, yes, it is unfair because the previous artist escaped without getting the boot he deserved. But chill - a block is only temporary! You'll soon be able to log on! What does a man bent over on all fours have to do with 'entry'? It is irrelevant, and you deserve to be skipped for that. You don't have to get provoked by other artists - let them draw the baloney. Why don't you warn/boot them when they draw something wrong (or are you a newbie, and have no privileges yet?)? You'll have loads of fun - and a hearty giggle - when you watch them getting booted/blocked/banned. Trust me! I always give a round of applause when someone's kicked out.
Seriously, I hate it when people draw 'big, bare tits' for the word 'breast', but I guess it's okay as long as there aren't any testicles or whatever... However, if the picture is too obscene, then you can vote to skip the artist.

hello
I was playing on isketch last night, my word was "toothpick" so thats what i drew, no words or anything and nothing rude or offensive and someone clicked on the "!" above the picture, after the pic was over i said why did you do that, and he/she said " sorry i didn't mean to do that" and right after that i was blocked for 7000 odd mins. Iv emailed feedback to no avail. im pretty bogged down with the whole thing as i usually play isketch every night after work (sad i know) but i do. :(

*if* it is as you say it is (not saying that I don't believe you, just that many people have lied in the past on the forum about blocks and bans), than I think what may have happened is that the admin was trying to block the person who voted you for "no reason" - if you like you say your picture wasn't off topic, and you didn't break any rules. Mistakes like that happen, sadly, as it's an easy one to make.
In which case, if you did write to feedback, then I suppose they will read the email and investigate it. Afterall, they know the full reasons for why people are blocked/banned, so hopefully they'll get back to you.
Having said that, it's just a block and not a ban, which means you'll be able to get back on after your 7000 mins is over.
When did you email them? Feedback to get a lot of emails, as you can probably guess, so you'll probably need to give them at least two days to get back to you - if they do. Hope your problem gets sorted.

hmm well i don't see why they would do that i mean people new to the game might click on the "!" to see what it does or something. i sent the email this morning and appreciate it must take a long time to sort through them. Its just quite frustrating. Thanks for the reply.

Lol, just thought I'd say if you got 7000 minutes you are a repeat offender... You don't just get 7k off the bat.

Hmm yes, 7000 minutes seems quite a lot, but seeing as you were blocked before, it could happen.
Administrators are only human and, like all humans, they do sometimes make mistakes. They have to act quickly as some players can abuse their vote and immediately leave the room after. Indeed, if they did block the wrong person, you would need to contact Feedback, as you have already done. You'll get an instant reply to acknowledge that they received your e-mail and you should get a reply within a few days.
Although, 7000 minutes is almost 5 days, so it might be worth just waiting until your block is over, as Nerdy said, blocks will expire after a certain time.
