Has anybody seen any of the episodes of Countdown since the new series started? If so what do you think of the new folks?

I'd say that Jeff Stelling is pretty good, I only saw the second half of one of the episodes but he seemed to be quite funny and a generally good host.

The numbers lady, Rachel I think, is good too. Unlike Carol Vorderman, she didn't make me want to hurt her. :):) Which is always nice. That Vorderman really did annoy me. Oh, plus, the new one looked TALL and she looks awkward next to the board thing. She sort of... stoops for the tiles. I felt an immediate bond with her. We tall-stoopers have to stick together. :)

(only by sticking together can we stand up to our oppressors, the short-reachers)

So... umm... yes, did anyone see it? Anything to say?

You had me worried for a moment there.. I thought this was a thread counting down to Christmas.. (I'm telling you, one day it will happen! The countdown gets earlier and earlier each year..) :|

:o Rudness! :P I'm 5' 2" lol..

I haven't seen it yet, sadly. But I've been a fan of Countdown for years! :D It was sad to see Richard go. He did make the show what it was, to be honest. I know there have been two other great hosts since then.. but it's just not been the same :( I miss Richard's cheesy jokes..

Anyway, I have yet to see the new folks, so I must remind myself to watch that when I can.

I used to love watching countdown :) it's a fun show... I think if I tune in I'll post more of an opinion...

And lol. we shorties need to stick together to gang up on you tallies ;))) I'm like.. 5ft4 or something small... but not as small as nerrrdy :D I think it was 5ft4.. maybe 3... eh. I know I'm short. :D

She also did a series of gcse math videos... Not that we learnt anything.. but I meant what is she really known for apart from countdown (And her mathsie love) and advertising?

HA! That maths one! lmao.. the tune has come back into my head.. :O
It's been like.. 9 years since I did my GCSEs.. and when you said that ^ the first thing that came into my head was a madonna type song that they did.. to learn your times tables.. LOL.. It wasn't actually Madonna, but more of a look-alike.. and I remember they kept going "way-hey-heeeeeeey" during the song :|

Oh God, those videos were terrrrrrrible!

Edit: come to think of it, we watched those videos when I was in year 8.. so it wasn't the GCSE ones.. but terrible all the same, no doubt. XD

I haven't seen any of the new series of countdown, I was unaware it had started again.
Carol was brilliant with numbers. I'll have to wait and see what the new lady is capable of.

Haha! Very nice. I don't think that advert is on TV now.
