I've had increasing numbers of players tell me they've been crashing recently on isketch and I have advised a lot to turn off player icons to see if thei helps resolve the issue. I'm wondering how widespread the problem is so posting a poll here just to get a general idea.

I crash in both (I am such a terrible driver ). Turning off the player icons hasn't helped me either  Mind you... I am with the wonderful tisc-hell-i - so as soon as I can change my ISP, that may be the end of my problems

I have no problems whatosever. I don't use IE or Firefox.. I'm a total Safari user for isketch. Not sure if that makes a difference...

I use IE.. used to get a lot of crashes but it's not so bad anymore, and I have icons on.

it doesn't crash for Firefox for me. it crashes on IE though, so i've started regularly using Firefox for iSketch. turning icons on and off... i'll try it out, but i don't think it makes much of a difference.

I HAD problems in IE7 and at your suggestion turned the icons off. That sorted my issues out. I have recently turned them back on and havent had an issue.

My new laptop is running IE7 under Windows Vista and the only problem I have had is a bit of lag between the point where I put my pen on the tablet and where iSketch reacts to it - so a lot of my lines have recently been half-lines and I can't do dots and dashes for words like confetti.

I remember having this problem a couple of years back but it only happened once and by allowing the first pop-up you get asking if you want to allow it, it worked fine. I've not had any problems for a while and no issues with the new IE either.
