db1986's Easter Competition!
Round 2

It's time for the next round

Competition Layout

Round 1: Spot The Difference (25 Points)
Round 2: Jigword (50 Points)

Place all 86 forumite names into the crossword-style grid below.
All the names have been categorised into number of characters.
If a forumite name has any non-alpha characters, you must insert the name into the grid exactly as it appears, including all non-alpha characters.
Example: //Loviii--x
This name has 11 characters including non-alpha characters and would look like this:

If you incorrectly spell a forumite name, you will not be penalised, as long as it is clear to me which forumite it is.
Forumite names with a space have had their space replaced by an underscore.

Round 3: ??? (??? Points)
Round 4: ??? (??? Points)
Round 5: ??? (??? Points)

Round 2: Jigword

There are 2 forumites that can be interchanged. Sunny1 and Sirago, and Tobester and tgfcoder can be interchanged leaving a completed grid.

Scoring

On entering you will receive 50 points.
For every forumite name that is not placed or is incorrectly placed you will lose 1 point.
The maximum score for this round is 50 points.

Are we allowed to write in the grey cells?

:P hehe. "wow, that was easy!" :)

A proper question, actually... Counting isn't my strong point so I'll ask; are there the same number of "gaps" for names as there are names... that is, will there be the exact right number of spaces for the names?

I like this round... never done a jigword (xD I just typed jogwird) before :)

Deebs, what font did you use to write the names on the list?
Rococo's name looks funky o.O :D

Lol, yes :)

Yes. There are 86 spaces in the jigword, one forumite name for each space.
Each forumite is included once and once only.

Lol, actually it's Verdana, the same font as this. It looks different because it's a picture and it's size 13, I think.

OK, slight update.

There are actually 4 combinations of completed correct grids, as there are two names that can be interchanged.

This is great! It'll need some thinking though... and only 3 days to do it in!

If you look at the empty grid then you can see grey squares dancing around

Hee hee, I glad people are liking this, it brings a different type of puzzle game into it other than a wordsearch. It was made using Excel (:geek: (http://www.isketchforum.net/group.php?groupid=5)) and if anyone would like the Excel file to make it easier to fill in, please feel free to send me a PM (www.isketchforum.net/private.php?do=newpm&u=3347) with your e-mail address and I can send it to you :)

Mreh. >.> I don't like this.. >.> I don't mind it.. Usually I love these :P But I've gone wrong somewhere..or it's not being done how you would want it to be done.. (Due to other possibilities maybe? Iono) but yeah... Eh. time To start again. -___-

I think.. I must have been putting in random letters or something.. Iono.. Not checking over my old one.. just starting afresh, and I dunno how I got half of it.. O_o

Aww, it's annoying when it goes wrong because it is very difficult to find where you made the mistake which has then caused a whole series of mistakes.

Only about an hour and a half left for submitting, so time to get those last entries in

I kinda worked from one name (the obvious one)... and spiralled outwards from there. Didn't really go wrong, I don't think. :)

Storm, that's what I did too. I made one teeny mistake because I didn't concentrate, but I corrected it really fast :)

I'm looking forward to round 3!!
