I was playing iSketch today, and this user named "X" kept posting rude sexist comments against women such as "i bet your boyfriend got his d*** wet with another woman during your relationship" and "i bet you give terrible head"
He basically called women toys, and made sexual comments. He cussed every other word and I ended up ignoring him, because I did not know if he was breaking the rules.

In the rules, it doesn't particularly say that making sexual comments is against the rules, but I just want to know if I can report someone for making those kind of rude comments?

By the way, is there anyway I can contact an admin to come into the room besides voting?

You can vote them for "excesive rudeness" as that is really uncalled for. The admin should come in after that. As far as another way to contact an admin I dont know, but someone else on this forum might...

Only other way is to PM one or invite one if you know the names of any. :)

Usually a boot vote for rudeness if enough to bring an admin in.

Hey there. If you take a peep at the rules you will see that there is a mention of etiquette or as some ppl refer to it as netiquette.

Players have to remember that in the public rooms there are people of many nationalities and ages - so anything that is deemed inappropriate towards races or too R rated can be deemed EXCESSIVE rudeness.

There's a little note in the lobby too when you log in to treat other players with respect.

So in answer to your question: YES that player DID break the rules ... it was abusive towards players and of a sexual nature so that breaches netiquette and is excessive rudeness.

That's fine and dandy in user created rooms for friend's only IMO but in pubs its just uncalled for. I don't mind an innocent "rude" joke every now and then, I can handle off color jokes. But if you're trollin, you should just leave.

Yes, I competely agree and unfortunately you get trolls sometimes. Admins are there to respond to votes, so just like Jmac and 2.0 have said, usually one "excessive rudeness" vote is enough to bring an admin in. As Bellicimo said, the second best way to contact an administrator whilst in the game is via PM, but you'll need to know their name and they may be busy in another room.

As for UCRs, these can be described as "enter at your own risk" rooms as there is no direct admin intervention.

I think if your in a UCR the creator can boot the person.

Absolutely correct. Any room operator in a UCR can boot out anyone in their room :)

Firstly, welcome to the forum tiantian11 :)

In the rules, it doesn't particularly say that making sexual comments is against the rules, but I just want to know if I can report someone for making those kind of rude comments?

Although it doesn't specifically say it, I think that would come under the improper conduct section of the rules.

Improper conduct: Deliberate drawing of unrelated and/or sexually explicit/racist images; giving out the word in any way; harassing other players; using offensive language directed at other players; impersonating an iSketch administrator by username choice or otherwise.

If you don't mind a bit of banter of a slightly sexual nature, sexual jokes for instance, then go for it. It really depends on if you personally think someone is being rude. If someone does go a bit far and starts being nasty, I'd say feel free to contact an admin by voting "excessive rudeness". Do be aware though, if you decide to join in with this "banter", someone else in the room may be offended, they may use their vote as well. There is a wide age range on iSketch, so if this topic arises, you have to be careful what you say publicly. There's always private messaging :)

By the way, is there anyway I can contact an admin to come into the room besides voting?

This has been mentioned already just a couple of posts above. Here it is again :)

db1986.

Did you really just reply to a post which is a copy of lines from earlier?

It's a bit pointless methinks, save your keystrokes.
