I had that problem! Exact same message. I believe it's a shockwave problem. I uninstalled shockwave by mistake.. (don't ask. Really..). And when I installed it back again, that message came up. I didn't understand why. I uninstalled again and reinstalled. Found other things to install and put into the Xtras folder too, and nothing helped. And because I was deseperate.. I just swiped my computer instead and reinstalled my OS. It went back to normal after that :)
Not sure about yours, but like it says.. could be something missing or something is corrupt. It seems like a desperate measure, but I'd suggest swiping the computer if nothing else works. But also remember to back up all your important things. Hope it gets sorted for you. Good luck :)

If you have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling Shockwave, make sure you have the latest version of Flash. I believe the Vector Shape Xtra is part of Flash.

lol, as easy as that? Hey, no fair! Actually, I'm glad I swiped my computer as a last resort.. gave it a fresh, fast start. Glad your problem is sorted. :)
