View Full Version : Does anyone remember ?
I checked and don't think a thread like this is already active so decided to start one.
This is the place to ask that question about a TV show or Movie etc that's bugging the life out of you
Does anyone remember a US TV series about a maverick female medical examiner who used to sit and act out the murder with her ex cop father? It's quite recent.
Edit: I found the answer it was "Crossing Jordan"
sketches

I never saw that. What years or decade(s) was it aired? And what channel?
Does anyone remember old-school Nickelodeon? I grew up to that, man. I think the channel's older than me - not sure, but I remember watching new episodes of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?", "Clarissa Explains It All," "All That" (that show was like my kids introductory version of Mad TV that I am now a huuge fan of), "Figure It Out" ... etc, etc... Remember the slime? Does Nick still do Slime Time Live or other game shows?
Seems that Crossing Jordan (http://www.nbc.com/Crossing_Jordan/) is a current show.

Oh, Crossing Jordan has whatshisname from 'Sliders' in it. Didn't know that. Not that I've seen it, heh. I thought it was some sort of really old show or something. Oops. :|
And sketches, your post brought back memories! Clarissa? :O "Na nah nah nah naaaa.. na na na na na naaa..(blah, blah) hey cooool".. :embarrassed: Goodness gracious me. I liked Are you afraid of the dark :P
Remember 'The Secret World of Alex Mack'? lol. Used to come on the Nick channels a lot when I was younger. Not that I used to watch it. Totally wasn't addicted to it or anything *cough*"Alex mack wears a hat, she wears a hat, Alex Mack". Sing it!*cough*. What was the chemical code? GC1 61? Lol.. I'm going to hide into a small cave and never come out if I've got that right :|
I'm sure you're quite a few years younger than me, sketches. So.. in my defense, I only watched all of those because of AJ! XD
You're about the same age as me, and I remember watching Alex Mack... so no excuses needed :D
Do you remember 'Out of this World'? It was about this lass who was half alien who could stop time and talked to her alien dad through a glowing plastic pyramiddy thing... good times.

It was the Australian show with the lighthouse 'n stuff! :D Anyone remember it? =)
-Edit- Clarissa and Sabrina (The Teenage Witch) were the same actor weren't they? Melissa Joan Heart, I think. But I think you spell 'Heart' a different way. Heh, I used to watch Sabrina all the time! I used to fancy her! lol.. (and her Aunts):embarrassed:
Round the twist was great!
Does anyone remember when 'The Children's Channel' first started up? It had 'The Steve and Danny Show' lol! And 'Earthworm Jim'! and 'Galaxy High'! I still know all the words to that themesong.
Oh and 'You Can't Do That on Television' and 'Knightmare'!
Does anyone remember the 'DJ Kat' show? With a D and J and a cat with a K... DJ KAT!
Philip Scofield in the broom cupboard with Gordan the Gopher... good times :P
Hey, does anyone remember those chocolate things... they were in a green wrapper, I think, and pyramid shaped. I think they were a bit similar to after eights in taste... they might have been called 'Pyramids' but I don't remember :P
Oh. I found them! Pyramints!

Yup, I remember it! I've got the tune stuck in my head now. "Have you ever... felt like this? Strange things happening.. are you going 'round the twist?" (lol?? :| Something like that!).
-Edit- Clarissa and Sabrina (The Teenage Witch) were the same actor weren't they?
Yeah, same person. Though she changed quite a bit in the space between the two shows. She's very pretty :D
Oh BB.. what have you done? You've woken our memories up, heh.
Now, I'm sure you all used to watch McGyver, right? Right? RIGHT?! Remember? Awesomeness. Meh.. TV has changed so much. All the good shows were on when I was much younger. I loved Saturday mornings (TV junkie.. *sigh*). Now I rarely watch any TV.
How about Due South?! Does anyone remember that? Canadian! :D

Deefenburger! LOL! I'm sure that was his dog/Husky's name, or it was something else? :| Haha, they show repeat episodes of Due South on ITV3 I think, I've managed to catch a few! :D I remember Ray, but I can't remember the Mounty's name....Oh, wait. I do remember it XD 'Frasier' right? (*sp?)

Frasier is the greatest TV programme EVER! And it's quite recent too. Frasiers ex-wife was Lilleth, his brother, Niles, was married to Maris but was in love with the Dads (Martin) physical therapist Daphne. It was funny AND clever and I for one have not been the same since it ended:sad:
Who remembers The Raggy Dolls then? And Thomas The Tank Engine!!
There's nothing I didnt know about Thomas:smile:

Everyone remember the "Wonder Years"??
I remember this one - I thought it was a fantastic program, although the girl (can't remember her name) was possibly the worst actress ever...
How about the one where that man lived in the forest and had a grizzly bear as his best companion. Can't remember the name of it, but I remember the theme song:
"Deep inside the forest is a door into another land - here is our life and home. We are staying here forever in the beauty of this land all alone, we keep on hoping........Maybe...there's a world where we don't have to run, and maybe...etc etc"
Was it Grizzly Dan?
Ah Grizzly Adams!!
Loved it

What about The Littlest Hobo? Anyone remember that? Once again, can remember (some of) the lyrics
"Every stop I make, I make a new friend can't stay for long, just turn around, and I'm gone again....maybe tomorrow I'll wanna settle down....until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on"
OOooh here you go
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PINxfouNQFw
I remember the littlest Hobo! With his little scarf, aww...
EDIT: Oh hang on! I just saw the youtube link and that's not the dog I remember. He was a little terrier with a red scarf? It's probably something totally different, lol
There's this cartoon that is right on the edge of my memory and for the life of me I can't get it..
All I remember is a bunch of people, and they all had either a necklace or a breastplate or something and on it was a picture of an animal. When they did something, possibly touched the item in question, they could turn into that animal.
This cartoon really captured my imaginiation as a kid, but it's possible I only saw it once or twice cause it's so vague.
EDIT2: Wow, I actually found it... 'Visionaries: Knights of the Magical Light'.
