hi, I can't search for "done" in this forums because is a "too common word". So I am asking here. Why is this button in the game?

It seems to irritate lots of players (including me hehe).

The done button only appears when you're drawing and someone's guessed the word(s). It's really intended to be pressed once someone's guessed and you're done drawing but it can be used to your advantage. Really competitive players use it strategically to prevent another player from guessing in time and get points, though the more people that guess the more points the artist gets, so it's a little bit of a gamble to play like that. Most people use it to annoy, but if you know the game you won't mind. I certainly don't.

I do not mind it at all, and believe it to be a rather strategic option if you are in a tournament.

/kill DONE. I leave the room now if a player continually uses it, cos it winds me up something chronic.

IMHO, it's proper use is in rooms with longer grace periods, or when lots of people are AFK.

Using it "strategically" may not be against the rules but it's basically gamesmanship and shouldn't really be encouraged.

I agree with NoHints...handy when there are people on away and everyone else has guessed the word. But really, good gamesmanship is important in my book and if all the players haven't had the chance to guess, I won't hit done. I also won't play in rooms with 'done hitters' because I'm not a strategic player, but one who likes a fair and fun game
