Everytime I log on, iSketch erases all my stats. This has never been a problem before. I use Safari on an eMac.

Weird. Shockwave's probably not saving properly. Dump shockwave to your trash, and reinstall the shockwave dmg (if you still have it, if not download it (http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/#sp)). If that doesn't work, try installing Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html), works wonders on MAC.

That, or wait until BB logs on and posts her suggestion, she's often, if not always fully informed about the nature of the problem and able to suggest the solution to it. But dumping and reinstalling shockwave shouldn't be much trouble. Your choice whether you want to add firefox, but that's something I, as a mac user myself, suggest to every mac owner i come across, as safari just doesn't cut it sometimes.

I was going to say that shockwave sounds like the problem, but you beat me, 2.0. I found that when I cleaned out my computer and reinstalled shockwave, it didn't install all the necessary files (not sure why!) and it was effecting isketch as well as a few other sites and programs that I use. So I had to reinstall my OS X disks instead (which have the necessary files, etc). And no problemos, shockwave was working and therefore so was isketch, etc. I'm also a Safari user for isketch, I don't use firefox.

So... if you do uninstall it and reinstall it and that doesn't work.. maybe if it wouldn't be an issue, you could try reinstalling your OS again, like I did. You'd have to make sure you save all the important things you need, externally. I missed a few things out when it came to doing that.. *grumble* Of course, it's a bit of an extreme move, heh. But it might be helpful as a last resort if nothing else works for you.

Extreme but often necessary. I had forgotten your misadventures with your computer. I've only had to reinstall once when i moved from 10.1 to 10.2 (Puma to Jaguar). Something weird happened in the update and the computer went all bizarre on me. Had to download all updates again, and reinstall, no problem there. But now i've got 10.4 (tiger) running, stuff's all sweet.

Can't wait until i can get my hands on an extra Gb of RAM and some Leopard. I think the ibook would look rather pretty in spots.

lol! I'd love me some leopard. Like you, I've had no problemos with 10.4 (tiger) though. I'm not sure how people can live without a mac.. There is no life without a mac!
Anyway Syrup, I hope your problem gets sorted out soon, mate. It must be annoying going back on as a Newbie each time.

Thanks for the help, guys! I think the problem has been fixed, although it sucks that all my stats and buddies got erased. Oh well, time to start out fresh! Thanks again! :D
