Something fun to think about is the seasons of the year. Which one is your most favourite? (Depending on where you live...)Maybe its Spring because of the budding flowers and moderate temperatures, maybe its Summer to sunworship(tan) or barbecue. It might be Autumn because of the pretty fall colours or maybe, just maybe, its Winter because of holidays, food, and family. Please share with everyone which season of the year is your favourite and why.:biggrin: I even Made it multiple choice for those that love more than one season or just genererally love the whole dang year.

My favourite time of the year is Winter. Winter is a special time for me and is the time of the year where im more active outdoors than any other time of the year. I love the cold, brisk air of the season, people are cheerier, and when theres a fresh snowfall, everything looks so beautiful covered in a new, white blanket. Ice skating on the lake and a bonfire to keep warm. Put on some golden oldies or traditional holiday music and im in heaven.
I always feel like a little kid again when its winter... I love to play in the snow, make snowmen, and have snowball fights. You might even catch me cruisin' downhill on a wild tobaggan ride. Woo hoo!

I really miss a true autumn where I live now. No sooner do the leaves changes color than the winds whips the leaves from the trees. We don't have to even rake leaves here because the wind blows it all away. Of course, there is probably someone in Iowa who is swearing because all of the leaves ended up in his backyard... lol

Here it is either cold and windy or hot and windy. Oh, for the colorful and cool autumns of Ohio!

Would have to be...

French spring - gotta love the spring showers! Mottled skies, gorgeous flowers, glistening streets.

Aberdonian fall - dark, cobbled streets painted with a firey range of leaves. Like stained glass.

Indian winter/monsoon - nice and cool. Breezy. Wet. You truly smell the rain here. Delicious.

Thai summer - so I can sit inside an air-conditioned room and watch TV all day. :razz:

My fav season would have to be spring, mainly because everything/everyone is so cheery, and the temp isn't too hot nor too cold, it's just right.

I really like two seasons: Winter and Summer. Oh, Spring and Fall are SO pretty, I could never complain about them! But I prefer the beauty of Winter... and the weather of Summer. Isn't that weird?

Winter can be SO much fun! I love sitting inside, relaxing with hot chocolate by the fireplace, and I really like the whole appearance of white snow everywhere on bare trees and cardinals... Although snowball fights and snow angels are fun, I'm not a big fan of going outside to play in the winter. It's more of a life-like painting to me ...except that it's real life. I especially like it when there's a blue sky and the sun's out and then it's really not cold. I also personally like Winter because I was born in January and snow is my earliest memory of the outside world. I also like the holidays and parties -- Christmas, New Year's, my birthday!! :D

And Summer can be just as much fun: school's out - and so is the sun. I can relax and tan by the pool, or go to theme parks like Cedar Point with my friends!! I have a whole lot more free time and a lot less stress! Summer is everyone's really active season -- the sun gives us energy. :)

I love spring. The whole world is fresh! New flowers, leaves, baby animals, mild climes, thunderstorms, it's perfect except I sometimes get migraines!

Summer I find too hot, autumn is probably my second favorite but loses out to spring because HUGE spiders come out in autumn, and winter can just be drizzly and grey. There are winter days which are just beautiful though.

Wow, I guess winter is in the lead. Yukkness - it's so cold and miserable and dark.

At first I thought "yay, I get to pick Spring and Autumn" but then Vik reminded me about the spiders :eek:
Winter's too cold and Summer's too hot but both are very pretty. Spring and Autumn are pretty and I love the rain! I like it when the weather's *just right* and you can go out without wearing a jacket or coat or whatever. Meh, makes no difference to me though, I never wear a coat, not even in Winter :smile:

For me, it's definitely summer! :) I loves it. Generally, I feel much more happier and healthier in the summer, and I think a lot of people do. It can get too hot, but when the temperature is just right, with no winds, is fantastic.

All the seasons have something pretty about 'em (except for the spiders :P), but nothing beats summer for me :)

So I weighed up the benefits and badnesses of each season:

Spring -
Not much to say about spring. Spose its ok if you like flowers. Not for me, really.
Summer -
Hot, but maybe too hot for my pasty complexion. And you get lots of wasps. I hate wasps.
Autumn -
Kicking leaves! Hooray! Plus my birthday is in autumn (I think). Can be a bit boring though, and usually have to clean gutters more often.
Winter -
Snow. Yay! Cold. Boo!
Then it came to me like an epiphany! It has to

Summer!!

Because of:

Im not at all surprised(expected) to see that Summer is winning though. There was a glimmer of hope for my favourite season(Winter) for a minute there but I knew it couldnt last.:sad: Love my Winter anyways.:biggrin:
